Katie Price has reconnected with her husband, Lee Andrews, who went missing in Dubai two weeks ago. However, she shared the news along with some critical comments about his unexplained absence.
In a surprising interview, the former model and reality TV personality revealed she had a brief, emotional two-minute phone conversation with Lee, who is currently under arrest on suspicion of espionage.
Katie, pleased with her investigative work, explained she found Lee hiding in a famously harsh prison, often called the ‘Dubai Alcatraz’. During a difficult phone conversation, she told him directly that he was widely disliked in Britain and that people believed his actions were fraudulent.

Despite accusations that he is a fraud – accusations he firmly rejects – she has promised to remain supportive.
Katie shared some wonderful news on her podcast: Lee has been found safe and sound! She was thrilled, explaining that he’d been missing and mistakenly believed to be a spy, leading to his interrogation.
Katie finally heard from her missing husband after his father, Peter, texted her to let her know where he was.

I found him! He’s alive and doing well. I let him know how much I’d been worrying and told him I loved him.
Things happened quickly, and someone told me they suspected he was a spy. I don’t have many details beyond that at the moment.
Lee, who is based in Dubai, was reportedly arrested on May 14th. Katie clarified that reports of activity on his phone while in jail are inaccurate. She stated that Lee hasn’t had access to his phone; authorities have been examining it instead. Any activity detected wasn’t from Lee himself, as he hasn’t been able to use his device.
Human rights groups have consistently raised concerns about the poor conditions at the prison. Among those currently held there is Daniel Kinahan, the head of the Kinahan Cartel, who was arrested in April.

On her podcast, Katie revealed she’s asked her husband, Lee, to do an interview. Her sister, Sophie, didn’t seem thrilled by the mention of Lee and clearly sighed during the conversation.
She explained that her therapy has been effective, helping her cope with a recent difficult ten days filled with challenging situations and triggers. She’s realized, thanks to what she learned in therapy, that she can’t control everything, and that’s okay. She accepts that some things are simply out of her hands and will happen as they’re meant to.
During a recent phone call, Lee asked Katie if she thought he had died. He hadn’t been in touch with his wife for two weeks before they spoke briefly on Wednesday. Katie admitted she’d been wondering if he was gone during those two weeks of silence.

Katie wants Lee to be completely honest and prove his innocence, both to her and to everyone in the UK. He’s scheduled to be released on Monday, but he’ll need to pay a substantial fine.
Before Lee got arrested, I heard he’d already started moving out of his place. He actually stayed with his dad for a little while, but his dad’s house wasn’t exactly fancy – it was pretty rundown, honestly.
After this incident, his whereabouts became unknown, and his family reported him missing to the British embassy in Dubai.

Katie, a mother of five, married Lee in Dubai in January, just days after they met face-to-face. Reports indicate that Lee is currently unable to leave Dubai due to a travel ban stemming from a fraud conviction last October.
Lee is in trouble after it was discovered he lied on his resume. He falsely claimed to have worked for the King’s Trust and to hold a doctorate from Cambridge University.
The situation began earlier this month when Lee was scheduled to travel to the UK for an interview with Katie on the ITV program Good Morning Britain.
On May 13th, a distressed Katie publicly announced that Lee had been forcibly taken away. She claimed he was restrained, put into a vehicle, and transported to a secret, undisclosed location after being apprehended.
