Katie Price reveals she’s starting son Harvey, 23, on CBD gummies after he accidentally took two of hers and became ‘nice and chilled’

Katie Price says she’s started giving her son Harvey CBD gummies because he seemed calmer and more relaxed after accidentally having two.

Katie Price, 47, advertised Olympic boxer Anthony Fowler’s CBD company, Supreme CBD, on her Instagram account Monday. She shared a video of herself discussing the company’s gummies with Fowler’s partner, Serena Stregapede.

In the video, Katie shared that her oldest son, age 23, tried some of her gummies, and she was happy with how they affected him.

I’m a huge supporter of Harvey, and he’s truly inspirational. He faces so many challenges – he’s blind, autistic, and has septo-optic dysplasia, which affects his vision and development. On top of that, he has a learning disability and, incredibly, he’s one of only around 2,000 people in the UK with Prader-Willi syndrome, a complex genetic condition. Despite everything, he’s amazing!

Katie explained she’d tried various remedies for Harvey that weren’t prescribed by a doctor, but she noticed he became calm and relaxed after using CBD, which seemed to lessen his anxiety.

Honestly, it was just heartbreaking. Harvey, my sweet boy, struggles with ADHD and has a lot of behavioral challenges. I found out he’d taken a couple of something, and I just immediately reacted with a worried ‘Harvey!’ – you know, that instant motherly concern when you realize your child is in trouble.

Then I wondered what would happen, considering his health issues. Surprisingly, he seemed perfectly calm and relaxed.

He usually gets anxious when I mention going out, and starts talking a lot. So I decided to give him two treats to help calm him down.

I told him he couldn’t have the sweets in the jar, but he really wanted one! I ended up letting him have two, and he chose the green ones because green is his favorite color.

I asked if he liked them, and he responded by asking for more. I told him no, but that we’d have two later when he returned.

I was so relieved when she told me how she helped him calm down. Apparently, he’s on the right medications for managing his behavior, but he needed a little extra help. Because he’s a big guy – around 28 stone – she gave him two doses instead of one, and it really did the trick! He just completely relaxed.

I’ve always stuck to the doctor’s prescribed treatment and, since I didn’t think of it as a medication, I simply gave him two of the green pills. They only seemed to help a little bit, so I was quite surprised by that.

Katie mentioned Harvey would be moving back home next month, and she planned to start giving him CBD gummies on a regular basis.

I had him staying with me for four days. He’s going to be moving back home in about a month, and I’ve already found a place for him to live, so I’m getting that arranged now.

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a natural compound from the cannabis plant. It can be made into different products like oils, pills, or gummies.

This supplement is widely used to help with things like pain, anxiety, and getting better sleep.

Okay, so the NHS *admits* CBD can actually be good for you – finally! But get this, they’re saying even stuff you buy in health food shops isn’t always reliable. Like, seriously? After everything I’ve researched, after seeing how much it’s helped people, they’re worried about *quality control*? It’s frustrating, honestly. You’d think if something has potential benefits, they’d make sure what we’re getting is actually good stuff!

This oil can also change how other medications work, so it’s important to talk to a doctor before using it with other treatments. Because it can impact the liver, people using this oil should have regular check-ups.

In the video’s caption, Katie explained she only promotes products she believes in and personally uses. She specifically mentioned trying the gummies herself and confirming their positive effects before giving them to her dog, Harv.

She’s faced criticism before for repeatedly promoting Supreme CBD. She was called ‘irresponsible’ for claiming the product could cure cancer and for generally overstating its benefits.

People are strongly criticizing company founder Anthony after he claimed CBD oil cured his daughter’s tumor, a statement widely seen as a marketing tactic to sell his product.

He shared last year that his three-year-old daughter, Roma, had a tumor and that he treated it with CBD oil. He also publicly stated he had chosen not to use chemotherapy for her.

In April, Katie also stated that Anthony’s daughter had recovered after the family chose not to seek medical care at a hospital.

There is no evidence that CBD oil can cure cancer.

She shared on X about a deeply moving conversation with Srena Stregapede and Anthony Fowler. They told her about their two-year-old daughter who had a tumor in her leg. Remarkably, they chose to heal her at home instead of seeking hospital treatment, and she fully recovered.

She explained that Supreme CBD can help with fibromyalgia, arthritis, anxiety, depression, general aches and pains, and trouble sleeping, then shared a discount code.

People on social media quickly reacted to the post by the former ‘I’m A Celebrity’ contestant, criticizing it as harmful and irresponsible.

That behavior is completely unacceptable. It’s a scam, and you know you’re deceiving people. And it absolutely does not cure cancer.

Claiming CBD can shrink a tumor is reckless. While CBD can be helpful for pain relief and calming when used properly alongside other treatments, no trustworthy CBD company would support such a claim – it’s against the law to do so.

‘Very serious chat to spread seriously dangerous anti scientific s**** to gullible morons.’

This news follows Katie’s announcement that Harvey will be returning home permanently. She had difficulty finding him a spot at a residential college due to funding cuts and her own financial situation.

The mother of five shared in July that her son would be starting to live independently in a new location close to her home in Sussex. She had previously expressed sadness about how far away they were living from each other.

He had been living at the National Star, a specialized care facility costing £350,000 a year, since 2021. However, due to funding cuts and financial difficulties for Katie, he was moved out last year.

After that, finding suitable care proved challenging. One care home refused to accept him, deeming him too difficult to manage, and West Sussex County Council reduced his financial support.

Katie Price announced on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, that her son Harvey would be finishing college and starting to live independently.

I’m so excited for Harvey! He’s officially counting down the days until he moves into his own place. It’s a big moment – he’s having a leaving ceremony where he’ll get a certificate, and then it’s time for him to really experience life on his own. It’s amazing – the ‘real world’ here comes Harvey Price!

She said he would initially stay in temporary housing before starting his new job in Littlehampton in October.

I’ve managed to find temporary accommodation for him in Southampton. It’s a shared house with five other adults, so it’s not a long-term solution, but it’s a good start for now.

He’s moving to Littlehampton in October, which is closer to where I live. This means he’ll be transitioning from college life to living on his own.

The TV star openly discussed the challenges she faced over several months trying to find a new school for Harvey, after having to remove him from National Star.

After he briefly went back to school, she faced a new challenge in February when he was asked to leave his care home because of challenging behavior.

Katie explained that Harvey had lost his housing weeks before the move because of a management change. The new management decided they weren’t able to meet his specific needs.

Looking back on the difficult process, she explained that they had spent months preparing, only to be told just four and a half weeks beforehand that he wouldn’t be able to go. Harvey had even been counting down the days, making the news especially disappointing.

As a parent, choosing the right path for your child can be incredibly stressful. It often means a lot of extra work – more meetings, more paperwork – and honestly, it takes up a huge amount of time. But we all want the very best for our kids, and that’s worth the effort, isn’t it?

She’s often talked about how difficult it was having Harvey so far away, and she’s said he frequently got upset and wished he could come home.

I was absolutely floored last July when she shared that the council had cut Harvey’s funding! Can you believe it? They said he ‘has no healthcare issues,’ like that’s all that matters! Some assessor decided he ‘only needs social care,’ which just feels…wrong. It’s like they don’t *get* how much care he truly needs, and it broke my heart when I heard.

Katie, who faced bankruptcy again last year due to a tax debt exceeding £750,000, was seeking funding to continue her stay at National Star for another year.

Katie Price cared for her son Harvey full-time until he was 19 years old. In 2021, she documented his transition to college in the BBC documentary, *Katie Price: Harvey and Me*.

Harvey’s father is Dwight Yorke, a former professional soccer player. He and Katie briefly dated in 2001, but they split up shortly after Katie discovered she was pregnant with Harvey.

Okay, so this is a really tough situation. A former Premier League footballer initially denied being the father of Katie’s son, but a DNA test confirmed he *is* the dad. Sadly, Katie says he hasn’t been a consistent presence in their son’s life since the birth, which is heartbreaking. It’s a reminder that biological parenthood is only one part of being a truly involved father.
