As a compassionate animal lover who has gone through similar experiences, I can’t help but feel deeply saddened by Katie’s continuous struggles with her pets. It seems like she just can’t catch a break when it comes to keeping animals safe and happy in her care.

Katie Price has disclosed that she’s brought a new pet into her household, even though she had faced criticism from animal welfare groups in the past.

Previously known as a glamour model, now aged 46, revealed her recent addition – a Sphynx cat named Daisy. She also posted photos showing affectionate moments like kissing and cuddling with the pet.

An adequately reared Sphynx kitten usually goes for approximately £800, while Katie disclosed her latest pet acquisition barely a few weeks following her previous cat’s euthanasia.

Over the last six years, Katie has experienced numerous misfortunes with her pets, resulting in the loss of five dogs, a horse, and sadly, her pet chameleon, Marvin.

Lately, the celebrity has confessed that she had to euthanize one of her newly acquired pets only five months following their arrival at her home.

With a heavy heart, she bid farewell to her beloved pet cat, Frog, when the little creature was diagnosed with an incurable neurological disorder.

In her recently published memoir titled “This Is Me”, Katie enthusiastically discusses the strong connection she and her partner JJ Slater share with their pet frog, Frog. She later reveals some unfortunate news about him.

Discussing her cherished pet frequently showcased online, Katie playfully commented: “[He] was quite mischievous indeed, as he hopped into the bathtub with me last night.

It might not be a good idea to share that thought, don’t you think, Frog? The spot he chose to perch on my shoulder happens to be one of his favorites.

Later on, as she delved deeper into explaining, she discovered an issue; it turned out that Frog had ceased hopping along the edge of the kitchen around a few weeks following the writing of this chapter.

In my experience as a lifestyle guide, when I attempted to leap onto the couch, it proved to be impossible. Similarly, I found myself unable to bound onto the bed. This peculiar incapacity led me to suspect an issue, so I made a visit to the veterinarian’s office for a check-up.

‘He had a neurological disease. There was absolutely nothing I could do. Within days it had spread through his body right to the point that he couldn’t even go to the toilet on his own.

‘So I cuddled him in my arms and he had to be put to sleep. He was only five months old.’

Katie has also opened up in the memoir about the death of her daughter Princess’ dog Rolo.

At her home, the French bulldog seemed to have died from asphyxiation, possibly due to becoming stuck in an electric recliner. Despite immediate CPR attempts, unfortunately, she could not be revived.

At the given moment, Katie informed her YouTube audience: “They couldn’t intervene, yet they assured me that his passing would be swift and pain-free.

In her memoir, Katie pondered over her dog’s passing and expressed, ‘We were unsure if the pet store owner had unintentionally overdosed our dog with CBD oil or not.’

However, we anticipated it would spend a significant amount of time sleeping, and unfortunately, on that particular day, it sought shelter under the recliner for a nap. Unfortunately, nobody noticed its presence there, and as a result, it was accidentally squashed.

Previously, in February, after media reports indicated that Katie had relinquished her dog Tank due to losing enthusiasm, PETA penned an open letter to the celebrity following sightings of her with a new feline companion.

They offered Katie £5,000 if she signed a contract to not acquire another animal.

In my role as a lifestyle advisor, I cannot help but address a pressing issue that has garnered much attention: the increasing number of animals under your care who have sadly passed away or been rehomed. This troubling trend is hard to overlook, and it’s understandable why people are expressing their concerns.

As a devoted pet owner, I didn’t jump straight into owning Frog; my journey with Sphynx cats began earlier when I was fortunate to have Dobby and Hagrid as companions. They were, of course, named in honor of beloved characters from the Harry Potter series.

In December 2017, the star declared that she was putting up her cats for sale at £1,300 each due to conflicts between them and her dogs. However, she continued posting pictures of the cats on Instagram until 2021, leaving it uncertain as to whether or not they were actually sold.

The primary animal welfare organization has frequently urged Katie to avoid taking on additional pets following the unfortunate incident where her protection dog, Blade, was struck by a vehicle and passed away in June of last year.

In their correspondence, PETA stated: ‘Regardless of your justifications for causing them pain, abandonment, or death, the truth remains that you are repeatedly hurting these conscious, feeling beings. I trust we can both acknowledge that this is not a desirable outcome.’

‘Things have gone horribly wrong with many of the animals under her supervision’.

In reply to the open letter, a spokesperson for Katie stated to TopMob that “Katie has repeatedly requested a private discussion with PETA, yet they persist in portraying our interaction through media outlets.

‘If they want to have a direct conversation with Kate they can get in touch.

Couldn’t the charitable funds be better utilized for animal welfare instead of celebrity donations?
