Katie Price Reveals She Has Donor Eggs and Sperm Ready for Baby Number Six

Katie Price has disclosed that she’s arranged egg donors, who resemble her, as she moves forward with plans to conceive a sixth child.

46-year-old Katie Price, once a popular model, experienced a challenging In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) process with her partner Carl Woods in 2023. Regrettably, they did not achieve success. This part of their journey was depicted in the reality show “Katie Price: Having Babies,” which stirred some controversy earlier this year.

Regardless of past heartache, this mother-of-five persists in pursuing her dreams. She shared that all necessary preparations are made for the arrival of a new addition to her family.

In an episode of the We Need To Talk podcast, Katie shared that she obtained donor eggs last year. Before getting together with her current partner, JJ Slater (at age 32), she was content with the idea of having a child on her own.

In a candid conversation, she disclosed some details about her future intentions. She subtly implied that the man from Married at First Sight UK may not be the father of her upcoming child, since she’s already arranged for a sperm donor. Furthermore, she left it ambiguous whether or not she and her partner have discussed starting a family together.

In her open discussion about her IVF journey and what lies ahead, Katie revealed: ‘I underwent IVF, yet it wasn’t successful because, in essence, my eggs are beyond their prime. Despite the doctors warning me that my chances were a mere 1%, I remained hopeful, believing I could be that 1%. And so, I pressed on! I went through the entire process, but unfortunately, it didn’t pan out as desired.’

Last year, I received donated eggs to help conceive. These donated eggs resemble me in several ways, such as my dark hair, green eyes, and ethnicity, which is a mix of Italian and Spanish. Since I am comfortable with having a child on my own, I had already been content before meeting JJ. In fact, prior to meeting him, I had already found a sperm donor from the United States who has black heritage.

She shared that although she already had a potential sperm donor, if she encountered someone she wished to have a child with, she would consider it. However, she emphasized that any potential offspring wouldn’t inherit the expensive DNA from this person.

Katie clarified: ‘I previously assumed that since I’m currently pre-menopausal, you couldn’t have children, but that’s not accurate. I’ve been tested and found to be perfectly healthy. This means I still have the ability to carry babies. Essentially, I’m ready to conceive when I decide to do so.’

However, I ponder over the possibility that I might encounter someone who wishes to start a family. In such a case, I would need to clarify that they cannot have my eggs because that would mean no Pricey DNA. Instead, they would receive donor DNA. The Pricey DNA is unique and only exists in five individuals – there are no more left! Although I can carry the pregnancy, the baby would be biologically theirs through the sperm.

‘I’m taking my time with this. To put it simply, I’m not in a hurry to make any decisions about getting married or starting anything new. Frankly, I’ve been through it multiple times before and the results have been similar. Divorce isn’t appealing to me, and I’m unsure if I want to commit again. While marriage sounds nice, it’s not something that holds great importance for me at this moment.’

Price has five kids from past relationships and is eager to add more to her family once more.

In her latest publication titled “This Is Me”, Katie reveals that she keeps a rapid contact with an American fertility clinic and has preselected a potential donor for his sperm.

‘I plan to welcome another child into my family. A clinic presently has some donated eggs and sperm on standby, awaiting my arrival for the procedure.’

After examining a series of appropriate donors, I selected sperm from an American man with mixed heritage. While I might have one usable egg, I’ve opted for a donated egg as well.

Prior to starting a relationship with Married At First Sight’s JJ in February, it was clear that her plans had already been set in motion.

In the book, the reality personality openly talked about her blossoming relationship with JJ, confessing that she had been smitten with him since their very first encounter.

In simpler terms, she was expressing that he didn’t fit the typical mold of aggressive men who would blatantly suggest sexual encounters. Instead, he was quite different from such individuals. This behavior was not appealing or attractive to her.

Harvey, age 22, is the child of Price, along with Dwight Yorke’s son Junior (age 19) and Princess (age 17). Additionally, she has two children with her former husband Peter Andre, named Jett (age 10), and Bunny (age 9). Lastly, she shares another two kids, Jett (age 10) and Bunny (age 9), with her ex-husband Kieran Hayler.

Following her disclosure to You magazine, it’s now known that she experienced three unsuccessful cycles of In Vitro Fertilization as part of her efforts to conceive another child.

‘I don’t mention it in the book. My eggs are too old,’ she said. ‘I’ll get a donor egg.’

Apart from sharing her aspirations of becoming either a paramedic or a life coach, Price expressed her longing for reviving her once-great domain as well.

She said: ‘I’ve got my book, I’ve got my perfume coming out, swimwear, underwear, all that.

Previously, I was merely following someone else’s lead, but now the reins are in my hands, and it belongs to me. Essentially, I’ve hit the refresh button, making it feel as though I am embarking on a new journey in my career.

‘But I’m more powerful because I’ve got the knowledge now. It’s on my terms, no one else’s.’
