Katie Price Reveals Heartbreaking Truth About Hating Loose Women Amid Split Rumors

Katie Price has opened up about the emotionally challenging experience she had while sitting on the Loose Women panel, expressing that she wouldn’t return to such a role.

The television personality, aged 46, frequently appeared on the ITV daytime program between 2015 and 2018. However, she recently admitted that she didn’t enjoy being part of the show because it coincided with a challenging period in her life.

During a question-and-answer session at the University of Cambridge‘s Student Union, Katie openly disclosed that she concealed her private struggles during the show, and has no desire to rejoin the panel in the future.

Over the past few years, the celebrity has openly discussed experiencing a mental collapse following a series of challenging events. Among these were getting robbed at gunpoint in South Africa back in 2018, as well as being taken into custody for suspected drunk driving after an automobile accident.

Katie mentioned: “I really disliked appearing in that program. It’s fascinating to think that I hosted Loose Women for a couple of years, which might surprise you, but I did so right at the beginning and during my breakdown, a time when nobody was aware. I managed to conceal it quite effectively while on air.

As a lifestyle expert, I found the experience of participating in Loose Women somewhat challenging due to the unique communication style employed there. Instead of having free-flowing conversations, we were equipped with in-ear devices that dictated when we could speak, when silence was required, or if someone else was currently speaking. This resulted in phrases such as ‘Kate, don’t interrupt’, ‘Kate don’t say this’, and ‘Kate don’t say that’. Navigating these constraints made for a rather complex conversation dynamic.

‘Behind the scenes of TV is very different to how you see it.

While it was enjoyable to make so many new connections, I have no intention of repeating the experience, regardless of whether I’m invited back or not. The reason being, I’ve already participated in similar events before, and honestly, I didn’t find it particularly enjoyable.

‘I wasn’t really well, but no one really knew, it was the start of my breakdown, horrible days.

‘But I liked the women I did it with, we had fun, but yeah, I wouldn’t do that show again. 

Could it be possible for me to host a talk show? It’s an idea I haven’t explored before, but given my unfiltered nature, a late-night slot might suit me best.

Katie went on to say she ‘couldn’t do’ another daytime TV show.

2018 saw a traumatic incident for Katie when she was both robbed and brutally assaulted during a carjacking in South Africa. This ordeal led to a severe emotional collapse, prompting her to consider taking her own life.

Reflecting on her challenging past, Katie openly discussed her journey to overcome her issues in therapy, telling TopMob: “I struggle with severe ADHD and PTSD. I’ve experienced various hardships such as breakups, marriages, kidnap threats, hijackings, being held at gunpoint – you can imagine, I’ve faced it all.

After hitting a rough patch, one that was particularly challenging, I managed to pull through. Looking back, it seems as though I’ve navigated quite the journey.

There are rumors swirling that Katie might have broken up with her boyfriend JJ Slater, as they both seem to have removed any signs of their relationship from Instagram.

Previously known for her modeling career, she’s had an on-again, off-again romance with Slater, a fact they made public as a couple back in February of last year.

However, her recent reorganization of her social media, featuring more photos of her kids and equestrian activities, has sparked curiosity about her present romantic situation.

46-year-old Price was highlighted for her performance as a fairy in the Easter pantomime of Pinocchio, as well as advertising campaigns for CBD oil and exclusive online clothing brands.

However, it seems that there’s no available space for the 32-year-old Slater, whom Price has referred to as his “absolute everything.”
