Katie Price has responded angrily to accusations that reports of her husband’s disappearance are a publicity stunt. Last week, she announced that Lee Andrews, her husband of earlier this year, had gone missing in Dubai.
The celebrity posted a video on YouTube explaining they’d been held in a van close to the Oman border near Hatta. They shared that they’d received a concerning FaceTime call from the person, who said they’d been taken into custody – possibly captured or arrested – and had their hands tied.
“He said, ‘Look, they’re coming back for me. They’re coming back for me.’ That is the last FaceTime call I had with him. And then his phone went dead at 10:03,” she said.
Price has released a new video addressing rumors that the recent events were staged for attention. She firmly stated, “Let me be clear: this is not a publicity stunt. This is real life, and it’s upsetting that anyone would think I’m involved in something fake.”
She expressed her frustration and hurt, saying she couldn’t believe people thought she was involved. She asked if they were serious and asked for some trust, questioning why anyone would think she’d do something like that.
Previously in the video, Price mentioned that Andrews’ family hadn’t received any communication from him, even his father, who is currently in Dubai.

Man, I’m freaking out. We’ve officially reported him as missing to the British embassy. Apparently, they’ve also filed a missing person report in Dubai. Honestly, I’m just at a loss for words right now. It’s a total mess.
Price said she’s incredibly anxious about the situation. She remembers the last time she saw him: he was in the back of a van with his hands tied and a hood partially covering his head. That’s the last information she has.
The police have searched all holding facilities, but haven’t found him. He also hasn’t contacted anyone by phone, so I’m completely unsure of his whereabouts.

A recent Instagram video posted by Price and Clemmie Moodie of The Sun showed screenshots of text messages where Andrews claimed he’d been arrested and taken to a secret, undisclosed location.
Adding another layer to the story, Luisa Zissman, known from The Apprentice, is currently in Dubai looking for Andrews. She’s been sharing videos of her search and says Andrews was active on Facebook Messenger just yesterday.
Zissman shared on Instagram that she almost gave up her search. She explained she was back at the Dubai airport, the last place Lee Andrews was seen, and planned to search the area. If she couldn’t find him, she would return home and concede defeat.
Digital Spy has reached out to Price’s representatives for comment.
