Katie Price CANCELS Glasgow Pride appearance last minute due to ‘urgent obligation’ – just days after she and pal Kerry Katona backed out of headlining Barnsley Pride

On Saturday, Katie Price regretfully failed to show up for Glasgow Pride, causing disappointment among fans – just a few days following their decision not to perform at Barnsley Pride alongside Kerry Katona.

The television personality, aged 47, unexpectedly withdrew from the whole-day, free event just before it began, as per the announcement made on the event’s official Instagram account.

She was part of an illustrious group of celebrities who celebrated the LGBTQIA+ community at the entertainment venue, Barrowland Ballroom, located in Calton.

Additionally featured on the list were well-known acts like Miriana Conte, Subwoolfer, Kelly Llorenna, and Karen Dunbar.

Regrettably, Katie Price won’t be able to make it to Glasgow Pride 2025 because of another pressing commitment. However, we have a special message prepared for all those attending the Pride!

The news was unexpectedly startling for the fans, many of whom had been eagerly anticipating her performance; some even announced they wouldn’t be attending anymore.

TopMob has reached out to Katie’s representative for comment.

In the comment section, people expressed their dismay with statements such as: “I can’t find MS Price anymore. Where has it gone?” or “I am looking for MS Price and can’t seem to locate it.

‘Is Katie Price not going anymore??’; ‘Oh I’m not going now, Katie price isn’t there’.

Earlier this month Katie cancelled her appearance at Barnsley Pride just days before the event.

On Saturday, the TV host was all geared up to amuse her northern fans, who were eagerly awaiting a celebration of their LGBTQIA+ community at the complimentary event.

Unfortunately, the organizers were genuinely disheartened because unforeseen circumstances forced Katie to withdraw from the event.

On Facebook, officials expressed their sincere apologies to everyone eagerly awaiting the Barnsley Pride 2025 events, saying: “We’re truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

I regret to inform you that, unexpectedly, I won’t be able to grace the Funny Gals Main Stage or the After Dark Official Pride Afterparty as the headliner, due to some unforeseen circumstances that have arisen.

Let me clarify that this situation is not within our power to change, and we’re truly disheartened because we were eagerly looking forward to having her join our stellar group of performers.

In addition to the unfortunate news they shared, it turned out there was another piece of disappointing information: Kerry, a close acquaintance of Katie and 44 years old, would not be attending as well.

Furthermore, the initial main act, Kerry Katona, was unable to perform due to personal matters as well.

Here at Funny Gals, we all feel the sorrow, as we empathize with the inconvenience and letdown you’ve experienced. We sincerely apologize for any distress this situation may have caused.

Notable personalities such as Vicki Vivacious (winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race), Sammy Brooks from The X Factor, Tess Tickle, and Gladys Duffy are scheduled to perform at the event, along with a few other well-known figures.

Although the organizers may have felt “disappointed” due to cancellations by Katie and Kerry, fans reacted with excitement, stating that the news “spoiled” their day instead.

They penned: ‘Oh no Saturday night ruined!’; ‘Nooooo [crying emoji].’

The reasons behind the cancellation are still unknown.

In May, it was said that Katie had to cancel her much-awaited joint interview tour with Kerry.

The live event featuring Katie and Kerry, titled “An Evening with Katie and Kerry – On Tour,” begins in Ellesmere Port on September 11th and ends in Hull on October 22nd.

However, despite her best efforts to find a solution, Katie will be unable to participate in the extensive 33-date tour because of childcare responsibilities.

The model is a mother to Harvey (22), Junior (19), and Princess (17) from her relationships with Dwight Yorke and Peter Andre, respectively, as well as Jett (11) and Bunny (10) from her marriage to Kieran Hayler.

According to a source, Katie was deeply disappointed and attempted every possible solution. However, due to her childcare responsibilities and a hectic schedule, she was forced to withdraw from the tour.

Instead, they mentioned that she dislikes disappointing her fans and aspires to repeat such actions in the time ahead.

Currently, it’s undecided if Kerry will carry on without her or if the entire tour might be cancelled.

TopMob has contacted Katie’s representative for comment.

The pair will recount tales about their friendship, married life and divorce, financial struggles, experiences on ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’, the significance of family, their ongoing media scrutiny, and transforming their lives.
