As a compassionate and animal-loving individual who has had the privilege of sharing my home with numerous pets throughout my life, I find myself deeply saddened by Katie’s experiences with her beloved pets. Losing a cherished companion is never easy, and it’s heartbreaking to see such frequent instances of loss in Katie’s household.

Katie Price has bought another two buys new £2,000 Sphynx cats despite her chequered history with pets – and after PETA offered her £5k to stop buying animals.

46-year-old, who was once a popular model in the fashion industry, seemed to introduce her latest additions – two new furry friends – during a live stream on TikTok, while highlighting her collection of high-end feline companions.

With an impressive appearance on the video call, she inquired: “Is everyone here? What are you up to? Hey, what’s the buzz going on below?

‘Hey, are you playing? Are you perming? They look so cute.’

In a conversation not being filmed, she said, “Ah, Tony. I understand, you’ll approach me while I sit, right? Yes, I get it. I enjoy that setup.

A few short weeks back, she disclosed that she’d gotten a new Sphynx kitten named Daisy, and in some photos, she was seen affectionately kissing and cuddling with the pet.

An elegantly raised Sphynx kitten usually goes for approximately £800. Interestingly, Katie announced the arrival of her latest pet mere weeks following her previous cat’s euthanasia.

Over the last six years, Katie has experienced numerous misfortunes involving her pets, resulting in the loss of five dogs, a horse, and even her beloved chameleon, Marvin. In simpler terms, Katie’s had a tough run with pets, as she’s faced several unfortunate incidents including the demise of five dogs, a horse, and her pet chameleon, Marvin.

Once more, PETA expressed their worries about Katie’s latest pet, issuing a strong statement in which they criticized her for viewing animals as playthings to be discarded.

Ingrid Newkirk, founder of PETA, expressed to TopMob that if there was a means to issue an injunction against this repeated animal abuser, they would take action, since this woman shows no regard for the lives she’s squandering and refuses to heed crucial guidance. Instead, she continues to treat live animals as playthings, considering them disposable.

If William Hill were to offer insensitive wagers, the odds might lean towards predicting how short a life this kitten may have, considering Price’s history of high animal mortality rates. Such actions couldn’t realistically be described as ‘care.’

It’s disgraceful that Price, along with selfish animal breeders, continue to offer or exchange animals as promotional items.

PETA’s proposal – a sum of £5,000 given if she chooses not to get any more animals in the future – remains valid. We earnestly urge her to accept this offer.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share a personal experience that’s close to my heart. Recently, I found myself in a difficult situation where I had to make the painful decision to say goodbye to a beloved pet, who had only been with me for five short months. This heartbreaking event serves as a reminder of the deep bond we can form with our pets and the importance of understanding their needs before bringing them into our lives.

With a heavy heart, she bid farewell to her beloved cat named Frog, as it was diagnosed with an incurable neurological condition.

In her recently published memoir titled “This Is Me,” I eagerly share my heartfelt account of the extraordinary bond I share with our beloved pet, Frog, along with my dear partner, JJ Slater. Later in the narrative, I reveal a piece of heartrending news about Frog.

In a humorous manner, while discussing her cherished pet often seen on social media, Katie playfully commented: “[He] can be quite mischievous; he even joined me for a bath last night.

It’s likely I shouldn’t mention it, as I suspect folks might scold me, right, Frog? He seems to have chosen my shoulder as one of his preferred perches.

After penning down this chapter, it became apparent a couple of weeks later that Frog had ceased his jumps around the kitchen.

‘Then he couldn’t jump on the sofa. Then he couldn’t jump up on the bed. There was something wrong with him so I took him to the vets.

He suffered from a neurological disorder, one for which there was no remedy. In just a matter of days, it infiltrated every part of his being until he became unable to perform even basic functions like using the restroom independently.

‘So I cuddled him in my arms and he had to be put to sleep. He was only five months old.’

Katie has also opened up in the memoir about the death of her daughter Princess’ dog Rolo.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I regret to share a heartbreaking incident that recently occurred. A beloved French Bulldog met an unfortunate end at home, seemingly ensnared in an electric recliner chair. Despite our best efforts, including administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), we were unable to revive her. This serves as a grim reminder of the importance of pet safety around household electronics and furniture.

At the given moment, Katie informed her YouTube audience: “They couldn’t do anything, yet assured me that his passing was swift and without prolonged suffering.

In her memoir, Katie pondered over the death of their dog, Princess. She recalled that the breeder they purchased the pet from had provided them with CBD oil for the dog, but she was unsure whether Princess may have received an excessive amount or if something else might have been the cause.

However, we anticipated it would spend much of its time sleeping, and unfortunately on that particular day, it sought rest beneath the recliner chair unnoticed. As a result, it was inadvertently squashed by someone sitting down.

Previously, in February, news emerged that Katie had donated her dog Tank due to a lack of enthusiasm, prompting PETA to pen an open letter to her upon observing her with her latest feline companion.

They offered Katie £5,000 if she signed a contract to not acquire another animal.

In a letter shared by The Sun, PETA Vice President Elisa Allen expressed her concern about the increasing number of animals who have either perished or been relinquished under your care. This alarming trend has not gone unnoticed and it’s understandable why people are expressing their worries.

Katie didn’t get her current Sphynx cat as her very first one; before that, she had two cats named Dobby and Hagrid, which she chose based on characters from the Harry Potter series.

In December 2017, the celebrity put up the cats for sale at £1,300 apiece because her dogs didn’t get along with them. However, she continued to share photos of the cats on Instagram until 2021, which leaves us uncertain if they were actually sold.

The primary animal welfare organization has repeatedly urged Katie to avoid taking on additional pets following the unfortunate incident in which her guard dog, Blade, was struck by a vehicle and passed away last June.

In their correspondence, PETA expressed that regardless of the explanations provided for their distress, abandonment, or death, it’s undeniable that you are repeatedly causing harm to these sensitive, intelligent beings. I trust we can both agree that this isn’t an ideal situation.

‘Things have gone horribly wrong with many of the animals under her supervision’.

In reply to the open letter, a spokesperson for Katie stated to TopMob: “Katie has repeatedly requested a private discussion with PETA, yet they persist in publicizing their stance through media outlets.

‘If they want to have a direct conversation with Kate they can get in touch.

Isn’t it more beneficial for the charity funds to go towards helping animals instead of distributing them to celebrities? Or perhaps I’m mistaken and there is sufficient funding left over for this purpose?
