Katie Holmes keeps low profile in figure-hugging dress and sunglasses as she enjoys day out at the US Open in New York

On Friday, in New York, Katie Holmes was fashionable, donning sunglasses and a fitting dress that accentuated her figure, as she made an appearance at the US Open.

The actress from Dawson’s Creek, aged 46, sought a less noticeable presence during her leisurely visit to the tennis event.

In a striking white, checkered maxi dress, she appeared breathtakingly beautiful, hiding her gaze behind high-end sunglasses.

Katie put on a big, leather motorcycle jacket and a green bowling bag while chatting with her friend seated beside her.

They seemed very cheerful, bursting into laughter as a photo on Katie’s phone amused them.

The US open games started on August 18 and will end on September 7.

Katie will be making her next appearance at the Dawson’s Creek High School Reunion on September 22, taking place at the Richard Rodgers Theater in Midtown Manhattan. She will be joined by James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, Joshua Jackson, Mary Beth Peil, John Wesley Shipp, Mary Margaret Humes, Nina Repeta, Kerr Smith, Meredith Monroe, and Busy Philipps.

The already-sold-out live reading of the 1998 pilot episode is raising funds for FCancer, with James Van Der Beek, who announced his stage 3 colorectal cancer diagnosis in November 2020, being among the beneficiaries.

Holmes became well-known for playing the role of Josephine ‘Joey’ Potter, a character resembling an ordinary neighbor, in the teen drama series airing on The WB that ran for six seasons from 1998 to 2003.

By the way, the actress from Our Town is putting in a lot of effort as she pens, guides, and acts in her forthcoming trilogy titled Happy Hours, where she will be joined by her ex-boyfriend Joshua.

Katie and a 47-year-old man from Canada play ex-lovers who encounter each other again after many years, reigniting their relationship amidst the hurdles posed by work and family obligations in a drama-comedy centered around characters’ lives.

Katie, a woman who became an empty nester, happily received her 19-year-old singing daughter Suri when she was married to Tom Cruise for six years up until 2012.

Instead of using her renowned father’s last name at the age of 63, Suri allegedly receives an annual tuition fee of $65K, along with coverage for medical, dental, and insurance costs. Remarkably, these benefits are extended to her despite their reported estrangement.

Katie, not receiving any spousal support, started dating Jamie Foxx, her co-star from Tom Collateral, between 2013 and 2019. However, since ending her eight-month relationship with bass player Bobby Wooten III in 2022, she has been single once more.

On Wednesday, while out running errands in Manhattan, Katie appeared dramatically different, with oversized sunglasses obscuring her identity.

She toted a $3,050 Max Mara ‘Whitney Bag 7’ made from calfskin.

In my devotion to completing the perfect ensemble, I opted for a chic, long-sleeved grey shirt paired with roomy, light-blue denim trousers. To add a touch of elegance, I tucked in the shirt and finished off the look with black ballerina flats boasting a sleek square toe.

In the coming months, Sherlock Holmes is set to star in Barry Edelstein’s new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler, a play originally written in 1891. This production will run from February 7th through March 8th on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, California.
