As a devoted admirer, clutching a spacious, snowy tote bag and cradling a steaming mug of java, I traversed the bustling streets, headed towards the enchanting Barrymore Theatre, eagerly anticipating an immersive experience with the timeless masterpiece, Our Town.

The Dawson’s Creek actress stars as Mrs Webb in the revival of the play by Thornton Wilder.

Her performance has been called ‘phenomenal’ and ‘amazing.’

Katie’s daughter, Suri Cruise (the one she had with former husband Tom Cruise, now aged 62), returned from her first year at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh to witness her mom’s performance.

According to the New York Daily News, Suri was among the initial ones to stand up and clap enthusiastically as the curtain fell on the play.

The patchwork pants are similar to the ones Katie wore this summer when she attended a Dave Matthews Band performance in Jones Beach, New York.

When she posted a monochrome photo from the Dave Matthews concert featuring herself along with singer Dave Matthems (aged 57) and drummer Carter Beauford (aged 65), it was then.

She shared with Town & Country, “Reflecting on my age at that time, it was a period of fresh starts. I found it exhilarating to discover more about myself, and I cherished those moments. Thinking back on them brings me joy.
