Katie Holmes’ daughter Suri Cruise is home from college.

A 19-year-old student was seen Christmas shopping in New York City with her mother, who is an actress.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I just saw pictures of Suri! She’s growing up so fast! She was all bundled up – totally comfy and casual – because it’s freezing out. It’s so sweet to see Katie’s little girl doing her thing, even though things with Tom are… well, you know. I just want her to be warm and happy!

The college student, a teenager attending Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania, stayed warm wearing a green North Face puffer jacket, a hoodie, jeans, and brown UGG slippers.

The young actress was carrying a cup of coffee and her phone, with a red purse slung over her arm.

Katie looked fashionable in a long, light beige coat and a matching beanie, paired with red pants, as she carried two boxes.

Suri Noelle started her college studies at Carnegie Mellon last year. Before that, she graduated from LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City.

Oh my gosh, you guys, Suri just finished her first year at Carnegie Mellon! It’s amazing! Everyone’s saying she’s really getting into fashion, like that’s probably what she’s going to major in. I’m so excited for her – she’s going to be a designer, I just know it!

According to a recent report in the Daily Mail, she’s growing into a very intelligent and mature young woman, demonstrating a lot of promise.

In New York City this August, Suri visited her mother on the set of her new film, Happy Hour, which was being filmed outdoors.

The actress’ Dawson’s Creek pal Joshua Jackson was also there, filming with her.

Suri has already worked in showbusiness.

In 2022, Katie Cruise sang a cover of the classic song “Blue Moon,” originally written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart in 1934, for the opening of her second film as director, “Alone Together.”

‘Well, I always want the highest level of talent, so I asked her,’ Holmes told Yahoo! Entertainment at the time.

Katie started dating Tom in 2005 and got engaged to him seven weeks into the relationship.

They got married in November 2006 at the Castello Orsini-Odescalchi in Bracciano, just seven months after their daughter, Suri, was born.

Katie and Tom finalized their divorce just 10 days after Katie filed, according to People. Katie was awarded primary custody of their daughter, Suri, and Tom was given visitation rights.

Tom has not been pictured with his daughter in 12 years.
