Kathy Hilton shares message of support for sister Kim Richards after she was put on 'psychiatric hold' amid 'relapse': 'We love her'

As a devoted fan who has followed the lives of the Hilton and Richards sisters since their reality TV debut, I find myself deeply saddened yet hopeful for Kim Richards’ latest struggle with substance abuse. Having witnessed her battles documented on screen over the years, it’s heartbreaking to see such a talented and vibrant individual go through such hardships.

Kathy Hilton expressed words of encouragement for her sister, Kim Richards, as she faces a return to substance abuse treatment.

In a statement to People, the mother of Paris and Nicky Hilton stated, ‘We are proud of her and stand by her, and that’s as much as I am able to share at this time.’

At the debut of her holiday party dress collection for Rebecca Vallance, Kyle Richards’ half-sibling made a short remark. This event took place at their shared Beverly Hills residence with husband Rick Hilton, who is 69 years old.

The reporter inquired about Kim’s well-being, and at 65 years old, Kathy responded: ‘Indeed, I believe there’s always a glimmer of hope in this world.’

Last month, TMZ reported that Kim’s family had cut ties with her hoping that the tough love would inspire her to get the help she needed.

Kim was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold reportedly after an altercation with Kyle last month.

She was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance due to her confused state of mind. It was also mentioned that she had been residing at a Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

As I’ve learned from recent reports by TMZ, it appears that Kyle has expressed concern about Kim’s sobriety, stating she’s in a difficult situation. Moreover, the whole family seems to be deeply concerned about her well-being and even her ability to survive this challenging time.

In Encino, there was an occurrence involving the siblings, as Kyle resides in a house that Kim had temporarily moved into not long ago.

LAPD officers apparently took action to maintain order following a report that a woman allegedly broke a restraining order.

After conducting an investigation, it was found that neither a relevant order nor any crime had been documented.

The involved parties were made aware of the eviction procedure, and the officials ensured orderliness during the process, as they communicated with the media outlet.

The authorities couldn’t confirm whether it was Kim and Kyle who took part in the altercation.

Kim’s struggle with sobriety was documented during her time on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

During the debut season of their reality series, broadcasted in 2010, Kyle made accusations about Kim’s alcoholism during a heated conversation. Twelve months afterwards, Kim sought treatment in a rehabilitation facility.

Back in April 2015, I found myself facing charges for public intoxication, an incident that unfolded at the prestigious Beverly Hills Hotel. Later on in the very same year, I sought help and made the decision to check myself into a treatment center located in Malibu.

2016 saw her trace the origin of her addiction problems back to her separation from her second spouse, Gregg Davis, in 1991. “It was around this time that I became aware I was consuming alcohol excessively,” she reflected. “This is when my struggle began.
