Kathy Griffin, 65, reveals she’s trying to find love on FOUR different dating apps a year on from her divorce

Kathy Griffin says she’s trying out four different dating apps, hoping to find a new relationship after her divorce last year.

The 65-year-old comedian shared that she’s hoping to find a partner, about a year after her divorce from 47-year-old Randy Bick, a marketing executive, became public.

She admitted to People magazine that she’s trying out four dating apps, which she found a little embarrassing. She’s been on three dates with nice guys, but hasn’t felt a real connection with any of them yet.

Kathy explained she’s not interested in dating another celebrity and is hoping to find a ‘normal’ person instead.

I’m attracted to guys who are kind, intelligent, and comfortable with my bold, outspoken sense of humor. It’s important that they aren’t intimidated by it.

I just want someone to share my life with—nothing extravagant. I’m not looking for someone glamorous or over-the-top, just a normal, down-to-earth person.

She made these comments after filing for divorce from her second husband in December 2023. The couple cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ and had married on New Year’s Day in 2020, but are now separating after three years.

She requested the court to uphold their prenuptial agreement, which would prevent either of them from receiving alimony.

‘Well…sh*t. This sucks,’ wrote Kathy on X at the time.

Sources previously told the Daily Mail that Randy became a ‘homebody’ and lost his lust for life.

After drifting away from her husband, Kathy apparently believed that divorce was the only path to rediscovering her own identity and happiness.

Despite being heartbroken over her breakup, Kathy is still in love with her ex, but remains optimistic and enjoys life, according to a source.

They explained that she’s someone who loves to enjoy life and is looking for a partner to share adventures with – someone who wants the same things out of life as she does.

Kathy is in her early sixties, but she feels much younger – like she’s still in her thirties – and is eager to embrace life with enthusiasm and purpose. Randy confirmed that she has this positive and energetic approach.

The actress and Randy, who is 18 years younger, first connected at a food and wine festival in 2011. They later married in 2020, with comedian Lily Tomlin officiating the ceremony.

Kathy has publicly discussed how difficult the breakup has been, sharing that she leaned on her friend and actress Jane Fonda, 87, for support during the challenging time.

Oh my gosh, she finally posted about him! And the caption…it just melts my heart! Apparently, things were really tough last night – she actually said she had to make a desperate call for help to her friends, like something out of a movie! It’s so good to know she has her girls to lean on, and that they’re all there for each other. I’m seriously living for this friendship energy, and hoping everything works out for them both!

“Fonda, it’s Griffin,” he said, his voice filled with sadness. “I’m devastated. I haven’t been able to eat or sleep.” Jane replied warmly, “Come on over, dear. I’ll fix you something to eat, and I’m here to listen.”

I’ve followed Kathy and Ryan’s relationship for a while now, and honestly, it’s always bothered me how people sometimes made fun of their age difference. He’s almost twenty years younger than her, and it felt unnecessary that they’d get teased about it over the years.

In a 2016 interview with People magazine, she admitted she initially doubted their relationship would work, saying, ‘I didn’t expect it to last, considering he’s 18 years my junior!’

She initially misjudged the marketing executive, unfairly assuming any romantic connection wouldn’t last.

She eventually realized he was a genuine person, not just someone trying to play a role, and they formed a real connection.

This divorce was her second; she had previously been married to Matthew Moline, now 54, for four years, from 2001 to 2005.

Following her divorce, she appeared on Larry King Live and publicly claimed her ex-husband, an actor, had stolen $72,000 by using her ATM cards without her knowledge while she was asleep.

Despite trying to work things out after their breakup, Griffin said they couldn’t overcome the problem of trust.

Matthew released a statement, read aloud by King on the radio, explaining that he hadn’t spoken publicly about his divorce or former wife since they separated.

I’m disappointed she’s bringing these claims up now. I don’t want to discuss personal issues publicly.
