Kathy Griffin, 64, flaunts youthful results of THIRD facelift as she goes full glam up for book event

Oh my god, you guys, Kathy Griffin looked AMAZING at her book event! She just revealed she had her *third* facelift, and honestly? She’s glowing! I’ve been a fan forever, and she just keeps getting better. It’s so cool to see her owning her choices and looking incredible while doing it!

The 64-year-old comedian appeared self-assured and animated while displaying the results of her recent cosmetic surgery at the Barnes & Noble in The Grove, Los Angeles.

She spoke at a book signing for Liz Flynt’s new coffee table book, *HUSTLER: 50 Years of Freedom*, which details the magazine’s history from its founding in the 1970s by Larry Flynt.

The Emmy-winning actress dressed casually in a white button-down shirt, a black bomber jacket, and wide-leg, cropped jeans.

Her bright red hair, styled in lively curls, stood out against her simple clothes. She completed the look with striking makeup that emphasized her best features.

Griffin’s face looked taut as ever amid her rapid recovery from her latest youthful transformation.

I was honestly stunned to see her at the event so soon after she’d shared she’d had work done! She’d recently confirmed her third facelift, and on top of that, she’d also had an upper eyelid lift with that really popular cat-eye stitch. It was amazing to see how great she looked so quickly!

Just last month, the comedian openly shared what happened and revealed she decided to have the procedure again after seeing how well it worked for Sia.

In a YouTube video posted on August 5th, she revealed she’d recently had a facelift, adding that it was actually her third one.

She laughed, saying she found it amusing to be getting attention for her appearance, since she’s never been someone who focuses on how she looks.

She later noted that she took notes from another star not known for her face. 

She revealed her plastic surgeon, Dr. Ben Talei from Beverly Hills, also performed a facelift on Sia.

She jokingly pointed out that it’s ironic Sia would get a facelift, considering she always hides her face. She claimed to have seen a video of Sia without her signature wig and said the before-and-after transformation was the most dramatic she’d ever witnessed.

Honestly, when I saw those photos of Sia, I was completely captivated! I was so impressed that I immediately wanted to find out who did her surgery and get in touch with her doctor myself.

Oh my god, I remember hearing about this! Apparently, when Sia wanted this makeup artist – everyone wanted him, seriously EVERYONE – she had to really sell it to him. She called him up and was all like, ‘You HAVE to do Kathy Griffin’s makeup, she’s a huge, global comedy icon!’ Honestly, it sounded a little…much. Like she was really laying it on thick to get him on board, you know?

She talked about the procedure on her podcast, ‘Talk Your Head Off,’ admitting it was her third time and jokingly calling herself vain for getting it done again.

People don’t come to my shows to admire my looks; they come to hear my jokes, and that’s what I deliver.

She went on to say she didn’t want him to focus on her appearance, joking that she was wearing comfortable clothes – Lululemons and what she called ‘fat pants.’ While she clarified she doesn’t have body dysmorphia, she admitted to having a slight concern about her body image.

The comedian, who had previously given her surgeon an award last year, went on to express her deep affection for him, saying she couldn’t praise him enough.

The actress, who recently had some cosmetic procedures, revealed she had a facelift, as well as a procedure to lift her eyes – often called a ‘foxy eye lift’ – and also had work done on her chin.

Let me tell you, I recently had a little procedure – a tiny stitch under my chin, you likely won’t even notice it unless you’re looking from a *very* specific angle, and not in a weird way! I’m being real with you, it *hurt*. Anyone who says it’s like getting a filling is… well, they’re not telling the truth. It’s definitely painful, and I want to be honest about that.

Afterwards, Kathy went to a ‘rich lady recovery place’ and then returned home. 

Let me tell you, recovering after a procedure isn’t glamorous. Honestly, coming home can be rough – sometimes you even need a nurse to help, and it’s just… not pretty. The first night, I was shocked by how much fluid drained out – it was pretty gross, if I’m being real. But you know what? Despite all that, you quickly start focusing on feeling better and getting back to yourself. It’s amazing how quickly vanity takes over – you just want to feel like *you* again.

Oh my gosh, you guys, did you hear about Kate Griffin? It’s just… incredible. She’s such a warrior! Even after having half of her lung removed when she fought cancer in 2021, she’s *still* speaking out! I remember reading her interview with Deadline way back in 2016 – she was so honest about how tough it is for women in this industry just because of their age. It’s amazing she keeps using her voice, even after everything she’s been through. I just admire her so much!

She said she frequently hears comments about her age, something people have mentioned to her throughout the years.

‘I’ve been hearing it since I was 30, from managers, agents, studio heads and network executives.’ 

She explained that she’d definitely heard that phrase within the last year. People in the industry casually tell her, ‘You’re funny, but we’re looking for someone younger.’ She pointed out it’s a sadly common experience for women. It seems no one has ever informed these decision-makers that saying that is inappropriate – they genuinely believe it’s a valid reason not to hire someone.
