The indomitable spirit and sheer brilliance of this 76-year-old powerhouse actress never cease to amaze me.
Kathy Bates could be the new queen of network television despite her vow to retire from acting.
The 76-year-old actress has said her latest project Matlock, would be her ‘last dance.’
Yet, she has consented to prolong her stay at the party, as she will share some exciting news with her fellow actors during a conference call on Tuesday. In essence, she will tell them that they have been selected for another season.
Actors Skye P. Marshall, Jason Ritter, Leah Lewis, David Del Rio, along with the show’s creator Jennie Snyder Urman and executive producer Eric Christian Olsen, were all in a Zoom call together when the Academy Award-winner shared the announcement.
The series, loosely based on the legal drama by the same name starring the late Andy Griffith from 1986-1995, was renewed just two episodes into its first season.
