Katherine Ryan shared details of her daily diet, explaining what she eats to stay healthy as a mom of four and what foods she cuts out.
Canadian comedian Katherine Ryan and her husband, Bobby Kootstra, welcomed their daughter, Holland, in October 2025. Ryan is 42 years old.
Katherine shared details of her daily diet, explaining how she maintains her great shape and stays healthy for her family.
She shared that breastfeeding makes her feel constantly hungry, so she frequently eats dinner foods for breakfast.
She described her meal today, saying she had spicy Korean chicken with rice, and later a buttery crumpet with berries, yogurt, and granola.
Katherine shared with Closer magazine that she usually either skips lunch altogether or keeps it simple with just an apple and some cheese.
At the Ryan family’s dinner table, everyone generally eats the same meal, and Katherine says her husband, Bobby, usually does the cooking – things like cod with mashed potatoes or chicken pot pie.
‘In the evening I might snack on popcorn with a glass of wine,’ she added.
Katherine said she avoids bread as she ‘doesn’t enjoy it’.
She usually gets Indian food when ordering takeaway, often choosing a paneer dish or a very spicy curry, and always with either mushroom or lemon rice.
Katherine recently had a facelift that cost £16,000, and she showed off the results when she was out in public.
Just eight weeks after giving birth to her fourth child, Holland, last October, she underwent a medical procedure.
She’d mentioned possibly getting cosmetic procedures done in the past, but she only recently shared the specifics – just last week.
On her podcast, she revealed she had a facelift. She explained it included a full facelift, some fat transfer to her cheekbones, and a minor eyelid surgery.
A blepharoplasty involves removing a small amount of skin from the eyelids. To prevent a sunken look, fat is often added back in. In my case, I had fat injected into my upper face and eyelids, and I also had a facelift.
Katherine explained the surgery felt like a significant emotional step forward, as well as a physical one. Over the past five years, she and her husband, Bobby Koostra, experienced six pregnancies, including the births of their three children and the heartbreak of three miscarriages.
I felt a strong need to reinvent myself, to regain control of my life, and to feel like my old self again – the person I was back in 2019.
