Katherine Ryan has shared adorable snaps on her Instagram to round up her first week with newborn daughter Holland Juliette Kootstra, on Friday.
The comedian, who is 42 years old, and her husband, Bobby Kootstra, announced the birth of their daughter last week.
Katherine looked beautiful and happy while having lunch at a pub, gently holding her new baby.
‘One week of easy breezy Holland’, she captioned her post.
Katherine and Bobby are already parents to four-year-old Fred and two-year-old Fenna. Katherine also has a sixteen-year-old daughter, Violet, from a previous relationship.
Katherine recently shared the story of her incredibly fast delivery on her podcast, explaining that she gave birth to her daughter in only 45 minutes.

Just days after having her baby, comedian Katherine Ryan filmed her special, ‘Telling Everybody Everything,’ while holding her newborn daughter, Holland.
I was so thrilled to see Bobby Koostra announce the arrival of Katherine’s baby, Holland, on Instagram yesterday! He shared the most adorable pictures from the birth, and it just warmed my heart.
The couple welcomed their new baby at The Portland, a private maternity hospital, and the care cost them £10,000.
A few days later, Katherine discussed the day on her podcast, revealing personal stories, including an awkward encounter with a doctor she found attractive, whom she referred to as ‘Pat’.
Katherine shared that she was presented with a list of pain relief options, including opioid medications, to choose from during labor.
Katherine began the clip by saying, ‘This is the story of our child’s birth. What would you rate it, on a scale of one to three?’
Bobby then said: ‘So this one, we scheduled it. And it went according to plan and no problems.’
Katherine described the arrival of her baby, Holland, as surprisingly easy. She explained that they had a plan in place: if she didn’t go into labor by Friday, they would be induced by a doctor she described as ‘lovely and handsome’ – a well-known obstetrician named Pat.

We’re not going to mention his complete name, but people familiar with the situation will immediately recognize who we’re talking about. It’s a name everyone knows, and he’s definitely not someone you’d want to cross or upset.
Bobby then quipped: ‘How’d that go?’
Katherine explained she wasn’t feeling well, and then shared a very personal detail: she experienced bubbling and fluid release, which she now realizes indicated the baby was crowning. They had been referring to the baby as ‘Fenna,’ and she was clearly flustered while explaining what happened.
I was standing by the bed and thought, ‘Maybe I could get a shot of diamorphine.’ The nurse said she’d ask another colleague, Pat.
She left and returned, and Pat told me he wasn’t even going to bother examining me, but that I could get the shot. I immediately responded that he needed to come check me right away.
I decided to lie down on the bed and remove my trousers. Fortunately, Miriam and Pat came in at that moment, and he just happened to be nearby outside.
Bobby mentioned it was a good thing the person was out getting coffee, otherwise they would have seen what happened – you were with the doctor and midwife on the bed for about three minutes.
Katherine candidly added: ‘Yeah, and I knew I s*** myself.’
You know, it’s funny how quickly people try to downplay things when you call them out. I was in a situation recently where I knew something had happened, and they immediately tried to make me doubt myself, saying ‘Oh, you can’t be certain!’ It’s frustrating, especially when you’re already dealing with a lot – it felt like being in labor, needing support, and then having someone question your own reality. I just kept thinking, ‘I know what I experienced!’
The podcast clip was captioned: ’45 min active labour. 45 min podcast episode.’
