She might be one of the world’s biggest supermodels, however there is one modelling pose that Kate Moss cannot pull off.

The star, 50, is Vogue’s most prolific cover girl, but she hasn’t yet mastered a ‘glamorous wink’.

In the sensational new Vogue documentary on Disney+, a revelation by Edward Enninful caused quite a stir as Kate’s subtle wink was brought into the spotlight, revealing an apparent mistake or shortcoming in her work.

In a candid disclosure, the previous editor-in-chief of British Vogue shared an insight about Kate during their photo shoots for the legendary i-D magazine covers. He discovered one imperfection she had.

Instead of groaning, “Oh nooo, an i-D cover!”, I must admit that historically, I found them to be the epitome of cool. Consequently, yes, I genuinely enjoyed working on them.

She mentioned that, in order to achieve the desired appearance on the runway, she found herself needing to close one eye, demonstrating that this isn’t always a skill that comes easily to fashion models.

In 1980, I-D (Identity) magazine made its debut, masterminded by Terry Jones, with the goal of portraying a grittier, punk-inspired version of London during that era.

Swiftly establishing a reputable standing within the realms of fashion and style, this magazine significantly transformed and modernized the global fashion industry as well as the sector of fashion publishing.

Besides Kate, other renowned models like Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, and Naomi Campbell were also showcased in the magazine. Each of them would strike their iconic winks for the camera.

In the latest show, Kate is among the star-studded cast that includes Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Victoria Beckham. They all delve into significant events surrounding ‘Vogue’ from the ’90s.

Entitled “In Vogue: The ’90s,” this six-part series delves into the captivating account of the fashion world’s evolution during the decade, narrated by Vogue editors Hamish Bowles, Edward Enninful, Tonne Goodman, and none other than Anna Wintour.
