Kate Hudson flashes her abs in a crop top while Ashley Benson wears a VERY daring thigh-split dress as they join a star-studded crowd at Max Mara event at the Chateau Marmont

Kate Hudson showed off her toned physique while attending the 2025 WIF Max Mara Face of the Future event in Los Angeles on Wednesday, surrounded by a crowd of famous faces.

The 46-year-old actress arrived at the Chateau Marmont with Ashley Benson, 35, who wore a striking dress featuring a high slit.

Kate wore a black crop top with a long, matching skirt. She finished the look with a unique belt cinched around her waist.

She completed her chic look with a pair of barely-there strappy heels and styled her hair straight.

Ashley teamed her leggy, draped gown with classic stiletto heels as she posed for photos outside.

Oh my gosh, Troian Bellisario was there, and she looked absolutely stunning! And Brandon Davis, her husband? Total heartthrob! He was rocking this amazing suede jacket with black trousers – seriously, the perfect outfit. I couldn’t take my eyes off them!

Maude Apatow received the Max Mara Face of the Future award, honoring her talents as an actress, writer, and director.

Maude Apatow, whose parents are actress Leslie Mann and director Judd Apatow, openly acknowledges the benefits of having connections in Hollywood. Her latest project features several actors who, like herself, come from famous families and have benefited from those connections.

Sydney Sweeney, known for her role in Euphoria and starting her acting career at age seven in her father’s film The 40-Year-Old Virgin, recently made her debut as a director with the September release of Poetic License.

Leslie plays Liz, a therapist whose child is leaving home, and she unintentionally creates conflict between two close friends who are both vying for her attention and approval.

The upcoming film features a cast heavily populated by the children of famous actors – nearly half the cast members have celebrity parents.

Kate recently shared that the most difficult aspect of ending a relationship is the feeling of failure, reflecting on her experiences with past romances.

In a recent interview on Elizabeth Day’s podcast, How To Fail, the actress openly discussed her struggles with moving on from past relationships. She revealed that her therapist advised her to stop dating men.

The celebrity confessed that the most difficult aspect of ending a relationship is feeling like you’ve failed, and they emphasized that’s absolutely true.

The most difficult part for me was accepting that things don’t always work out, and letting go of the feeling of failure when I couldn’t solve a problem or make something succeed.

Sometimes you’re trying to force something that just isn’t a good fit, and it’s never going to work out.

She explained that she’s learned some people aren’t meant to stay in your life, and that with time, you understand breakups aren’t failures. Instead, they’re often exactly what you needed to experience for growth and healing.

If you look back and realize you didn’t handle a situation well, or wish you’d acted differently towards someone, it’s time to seriously reflect on what happened and understand why you made those choices.

Before she met Danny, her therapist had suggested she take a year off from dating. By the end of that year, she confessed she was completely indifferent to who reached out to her.

Kate deliberately avoided dating for a year. As she explained, she removed men from her life to deal with the discomfort of not having the excitement and flirtation that romantic connections usually provide.

She shared that her time being single allowed her to focus on personal growth, and eventually, she realized she’d uncovered a deep-seated problem she needed to address.

I remember just completely breaking down, like a little kid, and it was such a relief. Honestly, after that moment, I just stopped worrying about my phone and who was trying to reach me. It was incredibly freeing.

I found real happiness being on my own. I felt deeply fulfilled by my life – my work, spending time with my children, and simply enjoying quiet moments at home.

I stopped putting effort into my appearance, and when I started dating again, my whole approach to relationships had shifted.
