Kate Ferdinand shows off her incredible bikini body on a child-free weekend in Dubai with husband Rio

Kate Ferdinand flaunted her amazing physique while enjoying a weekend getaway in Dubai with her husband, Rio. They left the kids at home for the trip.

The couple, who moved from the UK to the United Arab Emirates in August, recently shared some details about their life together.

Kate, 34, shared a cheerful video on Instagram Monday, showing her enjoying time with Rio, 46. In the video, she wore a brown striped bikini and matching skirt.

The TV star then put on a burgundy dress with a low-cut neckline for a night out with her husband.

Kate captioned the social media update: ‘A weekend of us ✨’

This summer, the Ferdinand family traded their home in southeast London for a luxurious £6.5 million mansion in Dubai.

Kate and Rio Ferdinand got married in 2019 and have two children together: four-year-old Cree and two-year-old Shae. Rio also has three older children – Lorenz, 19, and twins Tate and Tia, 13 – from his previous marriage. His first wife, Rebecca Ellison, sadly passed away from breast cancer in 2015, and Kate is their stepmother.

In April, the Daily Mail reported that the couple’s new home, located in the luxurious Al Barari gated community, was on the market for 32.5 million dirhams (approximately £6.55 million).

Rio recently explained why he moved to Dubai so soon after leaving his job as a sports commentator for TNT Sports.

The former Manchester United and England player announced in May that he was leaving his job with the broadcaster at the end of the season to concentrate on his own business ventures.

After a decade working for TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport), Ferdinand is moving to the United Arab Emirates with his family. This decision comes even though his son, Lorenz, recently signed his first professional soccer contract with Brighton in July.

It wasn’t just one thing that led to my decision,” Ferdinand explained to The National. “I attended the Global Soccer Awards over Christmas, and it had been seven or eight years since I’d really been involved. I used to go regularly before that.

I got to know a different side of the place by spending time with a couple of Kate’s friends who lived there. I also run a business called Football Escapes in that area.

Dubai offers a lifestyle where families feel valued and enjoy a happy, energetic environment – it’s a great place to raise children, with excellent safety, weather, and the opportunity for a fresh start.

He explained that he was ready for a change after spending the last decade or so working with TNT following his retirement. He realized that for thirty years, his life had been completely dictated by the schedule of events.

I’m not retiring from football, but it’s no longer the most important thing in my life. To be honest, it feels good to have that perspective.

The Manchester United icon also revealed that a major reason for the transfer was wanting the best education for his children.

He mentioned he’d considered moving, and revisiting the schools in February made him think about it again. It just sparked the idea in his mind, he said.

Switching to this new school felt like a really positive change, especially for my children’s education. It’s ideal timing too, as my kids are 14 and will be starting their two-year GCSE courses this August.

With a four-year-old and a two-year-old, the timing feels right for our family. The school uses an English-based curriculum, but teaches it in a unique and engaging way. I also think teachers in the UK often don’t get the appreciation or compensation they deserve.
