Kate Brazier has revealed working out saved her during ‘the hardest years of her life‘.

The PR executive and her former husband, Jeff, announced their divorce in November after separating earlier in the summer. They had been married for seven years.

Kate shared a photo on Instagram Friday showing off her fit body and explained how working out has helped her cope with difficult periods, even though she used to feel overwhelmed just thinking about going to the gym.

She explained that she receives a lot of negative comments daily about the photos she posts of her workouts, but she chooses to ignore them. She used to be incredibly insecure and afraid to go to the gym, and would even cry at the thought of it, but she’s overcome that now.

During a really difficult time in my life, I made a choice: instead of letting the pain defeat me, I used it as motivation to take care of myself and keep moving forward.

It might seem like a small thing, but challenging myself by entering this competition – even though I was really scared – shows me how much I’ve grown.

She went on to say that they completed the race in under an hour, achieving the fastest time for women. She expressed her amazement at the strength and resilience of the human spirit, stating she’s never felt more proud. She also shared her gratitude to @lhart07 for their support in helping her succeed.

This news follows Kate’s recent suggestion that she’s begun dating again, only a couple of months after she and Jeff revealed they were separating.

Kate recently posted something suggestive on Instagram, implying she’s embracing a new approach to dating and might be seeing someone new following her split.

The message advised people to date someone who loves dogs. It joked that these women are so dedicated to their jobs and their dogs – spending all their time and money on them – that they’re too tired to worry about anything else, including cheating.

Evidently in agreement with the message, she wrote: ‘Truth.’

While filming on location, Freddy, who occasionally presents on the show This Morning, also posted a message.

He shared a beautiful photo of the coast with a thoughtful message: transitioning from being in a relationship to being single means learning to be comfortable with solitude in a place that once held shared memories.

‘I find it helpful to remind often that ‘I am enough.”

The presenter shared photos of the team working on the show, and wrote, ‘I’m excited to spend more time with these great people today.’

In November, Brazier announced their split, saying they had tried their best but ultimately couldn’t stay together.

He shared with his Instagram followers that he feels immense love and gratitude for Kate, reflecting on everything they’ve accomplished together, how much they’ve both grown as individuals, and all the challenges they’ve overcome.

We split up over the summer and chose to keep it quiet for a while so we could both get used to the change.

Even though they’ve separated, Jeff shared his respect for Kate, describing her as a driven and caring person, and saying he was proud of everything they accomplished as a couple.

He went on to say that for twelve years, they’ve been a source of comfort and support for each other, especially during a challenging and hectic time in their lives.

‘I’m so proud of how hard we worked, how we kept showing up, we gave everything and more.

I deeply admire Kate’s successful career and am incredibly grateful for her unwavering and unconditional care.

The couple, who had been together for ten years before marrying in September 2018, briefly split in 2022 but later got back together.

Brazier has two sons, Freddy and Bobby, with his ex-wife, Jade Goody, who won the reality show Big Brother.

The beloved TV star sadly passed away in March 2009 at just 27 years old, following a battle with cervical cancer.
