The actress, who is 25 years old, had not updated her platform since February 2023; however, she recently reappeared and engaged with her 148,000 fans on Thursday.
Lily, much like her renowned parents, displayed a striking similarity when she gracefully stood in a sophisticated long white gown and stylish black boots for the camera.
At the vibrant art entertainment spot, Luna Luna, located in New York City, the celebrity was pictured striking a pose near a glowing, space-themed wall. She accompanyingly wrote on her post, “Completely captivated by the lunar vibes @lunaluna.
In her latest photo, she appears strikingly similar to the Welsh actor who is reminiscent of both Kate and Michael.
Excited for her return to Instagram, fans took to the comments as they wrote: ‘Omg she’s back!!!’
In the year 1995, Michael and Kate crossed paths during a traveling performance of The Seagull. Four years down the line, in 1999, the actress welcomed their child, Lily, into the world.
They split in 2002 after seven years together when their daughter was just three years old.
The complexity of their separation increased significantly since they had just moved to the United States together with Lily, and Michael had to go back to the UK, leaving Kate behind abroad.
Lily has carried on the tradition set by her parents by choosing an acting path, with her notable roles being in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022), Everyone’s Fine (2009), and Underworld: Evolution (2006).
In reference to her daughter’s likeness in 2023, Kate remarked: ‘Indeed, I can see the resemblance. Absolutely, I do. Occasionally, I’d tease her by sending a message, “Time for you to claim your own identity!”‘
‘She’s like a better version. She’s got something that I don’t.
‘She looks like this gorgeous Disney animal — she’s got these giant eyes . . . I think probably Dad [Michael Sheen] helped with that a bit — but she’s very much herself.’
On the Changes With Annie Macmanus podcast in 2020, Michael discussed his separation from Kate. He explained, “Navigating the challenging process of a relationship ending, raising a young child, and then having to establish a life in a foreign land due to my daughter and her mother residing elsewhere, all while dealing with this difficult situation.
Since I didn’t have a work visa for staying in the U.S., I was required to return to the UK each time I left. My ability to re-enter the U.S. was always uncertain.
‘So, I ended up having to get work in Britain because I wasn’t really getting any work in America. It really made me question certain things about myself.’
In 2019, the actor, who has previously dated Rachel McAdams and Sarah Silverman, became a father for the second time when he welcomed his daughter Lyra with his partner Anna Lundberg, who is 30 years old.
Kate later married American film director Len Wiseman, but they separated after 11 years.
Michael and Kate remain good friends, and she has expressed before that she deeply admires and enjoys his company, stating, “I truly appreciate him and find him amusing, and our interactions always bring out the best laughs in us.
In the past few years, they’ve both appeared in each other’s social media streams, given that they share time with their common daughter.
