Kate Beckinsale bravely stepped out in a daring outfit—one that looked a little unsteady—as she arrived at El Capitan Entertainment Centre in Hollywood on Monday to film an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

I couldn’t help but notice her shoes! This British woman, around 52 years old, was wearing these incredible black boots with huge, ten-inch platforms. She’s already about 5’7″, and those boots gave her a serious height boost – she really stood out!

A staff member from Kimmel kindly shone a flashlight on a speed bump to help Kate Beckinsale see it and avoid hitting it.

The lead actress from “The Stolen Girl” showed off her long legs in a sparkly red turtleneck romper, paired with a brown faux-fur coat and jewelry by David Fisher.

Hairstylist Rob Scheppy styled Kate Beckinsale’s voluminous, 1960s-inspired hairstyle, while makeup artist Jose Corella used contouring to create the appearance of smooth, flawless skin.
