Kate Beckinsale, 52, makes a rare appearance with lookalike daughter Lily, 26, at LA Clippers game after she apologised to her ‘for everything’

Kate Beckinsale and her daughter, Lily, were spotted at the LA Clippers game on Saturday, shortly after Beckinsale publicly apologized to Lily for past mistakes.

The 52-year-old actress wore a striking grey peplum dress while attending a basketball game with her daughter.

She instantly looked taller and more striking when she put on a pair of high, black platform boots decorated with shiny chrome studs.

She completed her rock-and-roll look with fingerless black gloves and a one-of-a-kind headpiece.

Lily, 26, chose a relaxed outfit, pairing a black leather jacket with a plain grey top.

The couple seemed cheerful and relaxed as they enjoyed the Clippers-Lakers game at the Intuit Dome.

Kate and Lily recently spent time together after Kate’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where she jokingly told a surprising story about Lily’s boyfriend supposedly laying two eggs naturally.

As many of you know, this year has been incredibly tough for me with the loss of both my mother, Judy Loe, who passed away in July after a courageous fight with cancer, and my stepfather, Roy Battersby, earlier in January. It was while reflecting on these sad times that a rather unusual thing happened, and I wanted to share the story with you.

Kate shared that the past few years have been incredibly difficult, as she lost both of her parents. She said the only positive thing during that time was connected to him.

‘He laid two eggs in a week, is what the bright spot was.’

When questioned about the egg, Kate firmly stated her daughter’s boyfriend was the one who laid it, claiming he somehow produced a shelled egg with a yolk from his body.

She added: ‘He went to the bathroom and then was very surprised to find that he had laid an egg.

I threw myself into this as a way to escape everything that was happening, because things were really difficult at the time.

Following her unusual and amusing TV interview – which many viewers called the strangest and funniest they’d ever watched – Kate shared a heartwarming old photo on Instagram of her and Lily embracing.

Kate shared a photo with a heartfelt message, saying ‘I’m so sorry for everything. I love you more than anything,’ before removing the post.

Kate has previously spoken about the shocking resemblance she and her daughter share.

She jokingly texts her sister, ‘Get your own face!’ because she feels her sister is an improved version of herself, possessing qualities she lacks, as she shared in 2023.

‘She looks like this gorgeous Disney animal — she’s got these giant eyes.

‘I think probably [Michael] helped with that a bit — but she’s very much herself.’

Lily has two half-siblings on her dad’s side from his marriage to Swedish actress Anna Lundberg.
