On February 10, the Anti-Defamation League stated via a tweet: ‘It seems we have more evidence of Kanye’s antisemitic views, as he decided to sell a t-shirt on his website, featuring a swastika symbol.’

Beyond the existing issue, it’s troubling to note that the t-shirt, available on Kanye’s website, is marked as “HH-01,” a code often associated with “Heil Hitler.” Over the past week, Kanye has been consistently posting offensive antisemitic content. Such behavior is unacceptable and there’s simply no justification for it.

The organization pointed out that things got even more problematic when Kanye promoted his website during the Super Bowl, thus extending its reach far beyond his already considerable social media fanbase.

Tal-Or Cohen Montemayor, the founder and leader of CyberWell – a digital anti-Semitism monitoring service, disclosed to Dailymail.com on February 11th that they attempted to bypass Kanye West directly and get his controversial page taken down instead.

According to Montemayor, the Shopify team took immediate action and decisively chose to take down yeezy.com’s storefront due to its promotion of offensive, antisemitic content.

I wholeheartedly applaud Shopify’s recent decision, expressing that such exemplary leadership and responsibility are precisely the standards all social media and digital service CEOs ought to aspire to.

According to Cohen Montemayor, when someone misuses a platform or services to spread hatred without consequences, it is necessary to take action and stop them.

According to Cohen Montemayor, GoDaddy manages the domain for yeezy.com, yet the Swastika T-Shirt store is breaking their terms of service. It might be advisable for them to take similar action and relinquish control over the domain.
