Kanye West’s Ex-Assistant Fights to Serve Him Lawsuit Over Alleged Assault

According to recent reports, Kanye West’s former assistant is seeking permission from the court to serve legal papers to Kanye through a published newspaper article, as efforts to locate him have proven fruitless due to his reportedly elusive whereabouts.

In June 2024, Lauren Pisciotta, aged 36, filed a lawsuit against a 47-year-old former rapper-turned-designer. She claimed incidents of sexual harassment, violations of contractual agreements, and unjust dismissal as the reasons for her legal action.

Previously known for creating content on OnlyFans, she subsequently incorporated accusations of sexual assault into her lawsuit, asserting that her drink had been laced with something during a recording session at a music studio.

West, who was recently spotted in Japan, has refuted the accusations, labeling them as groundless. However, the father of four has yet to issue an official response regarding the court case.

According to the U.S. Sun, he has shown no interest in obtaining a lawyer as Pisciotta’s legal team works diligently to serve him with legal documents.

Currently, it’s thought that West has left his $10,000 per month Los Angeles property and relocated to Tokyo, Japan together with his partner, Bianca Censori.

Last year, a rap artist bought a house in Beverly Hills, however, it appears that the residence remains unoccupied according to reports published this past Friday.

His 30-year-old wife, however, has been spotted by herself in LA in recent months.

Delivering legal papers to someone through a newspaper is commonly known as “service by notice” and is usually seen as a final option for conveying such documents.

According to court records we’ve examined, Kanye West, also known as YE, has not received legal service, despite thorough investigations and attempts to personally deliver the documents. It seems that YEEZY Construction, Inc. no longer exists.

The plaintiff handed over legal documents directly to the representatives responsible for receiving service of process, specifically for Kanye West, also known as YE, and his business entities: YEEZY, LLC, YEEZY FOOTWEAR, LLC, and YEEZY APPAREL, LLC.

‘Their respective time to respond to the First Amended Complaint passed.’

In the delay of Pisciotta’s legal case, the Los Angeles wildfires were cited as one of the contributing factors.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: Due to the delay caused by the year-end holidays and the Eaton and Palisades fires, I find myself unable to appear before this Court out of court to request an order that would allow for serving Kanye West (also known as YE) by publication.

‘Plaintiff intends to be before the Court in the next 5 — 10 business days.’

Lauren submitted a new court document on January 22, and the upcoming related court hearing has been set for January 29.

As a lifestyle advisor, I’d put it this way: In past communications with the courts, my legal team has stated that my previous employer, Kanye West, is either abroad or intentionally avoiding being served.

According to the Sun, their team is considering placing an advertisement in a newspaper as a final step to notify West about the pending lawsuit.

From 2021 to 2022, Pisciotta worked for the founder of Yeezy, and it’s said that her role evolved from Executive Assistant to Chief of Staff within this period.
