Kanye West exits X, credits Elon Musk with ‘allowing me to vent’ via venomous rants

Following a weekend filled with additional anti-Semitic and offensive remarks directed at X, they subsequently expressed admiration towards the app’s proprietor, Elon Musk.

On Sunday evening, as reported by KTLA, the controversial rapper, now known as Elon, expressed gratitude for providing him an opportunity to express his feelings. He found it therapeutic to use the world as a platform for release.

47-year-old “Vultures 1” (formerly known as Kanye West) appeared to have shut down his account not long after utilizing Elon Musk’s platform to proclaim himself a Nazi and express admiration for Adolf Hitler again. This action came alongside posts containing antisemitic comments, demanding the release of jailed music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, and asserting control over his wife, Bianca Censori. Furthermore, Ye expressed gratitude to Musk for his announcement about going dark on a certain X.

Recently, the individual once known as Kanye West made some inflammatory comments on social media, including a series of statements that appeared to claim authority over Bianca Censori and advocating for the release of Diddy. These remarks were widely criticized as antisemitic in nature.

As a fervent fan, I’ve always appreciated the artistic genius of this musician, but his past actions have left me disheartened. Known for his provocative statements, he’s drawn criticism over the years, particularly for comments concerning the Jewish community, which he expressed on platform X. In 2022, a disturbing threat was made against the Jewish community when he stated on X that “death con 3” would be enacted. This inflammatory remark led to suspensions from both that platform and Instagram. The fallout didn’t stop there; numerous clothing brands and management firms severed ties with him as a result. However, despite the consequences, both platforms eventually reinstated his account, allowing him to continue to reinforce his stance.

In December 2023, Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) expressed remorse for additional instances of offensive remarks against Jewish people and pledged to educate himself further to foster increased awareness and empathy moving forward.

On the day of Super Bowl LIX, Kanye West showed an enigmatic advertisement encouraging viewers to visit his Yeezy apparel site. The webpage showcases just one product: a plain white t-shirt with a black swastika emblem, priced at $20.

Musk has also been embroiled in controversy this year for using Nazi-like gestures during an inauguration event for President Trump.

Politics

During an enthusiastic speech marking Trump’s resumption of authority at a rally on Monday at Capital One Arena in Washington, Musk performed certain gestures. While many people criticized these gestures, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) did not join in this condemnation.

In response to a user’s claim about Ye sharing explicit content, Musk stated, “Since the nature of his posts is inappropriate for most audiences, his account has been categorized as ‘Not Safe For Work.’ I recommend you no longer view such content.

Only time will tell.
