Kanye West accuses former America’s Next Top Model star of trying to ‘silence’ him with sexual assault lawsuit

Kanye West, also known as ‘Ye,’ has moved to dismiss a sexual assault lawsuit filed against him by Jenn An, a former contestant on America’s Next Top Model. West claims the lawsuit is an attempt to stifle his artistic expression.

This lawsuit was filed ten months after the 40-year-old plaintiff accused the 48-year-old rapper and Universal Music Group of violating New York law. She claims the rapper forced his fingers down her throat and choked her, causing her to briefly lose consciousness.

Jenn says the alleged assault by Ye happened while she was working as an extra on the set of La Roux’s “In for the Kill” music video. The video was filmed in 2010 at the famous Hotel Chelsea in Manhattan.

Although West wasn’t in the second music video, which had an American theme, he did contribute to a remix of the song that received a Grammy nomination. The remix was created by the band’s singer, Elly Jackson, and producer Ben Langmaid.

A woman who looked like An was briefly seen in the video. She stated she was wearing provocative lingerie during the shoot, and that’s why the Grammy-winning artist specifically selected her from a group of models.

The woman, who identifies as a feminist, claims Ye choked her with both hands, covered her face with his hands, and forcibly stimulated her throat with his fingers for approximately one minute.

West then allegedly screamed: ‘This is art. This is f***ing art. I am like Picasso.’

Jenn said she overheard Elly Jackson telling a friend about concerning behavior she witnessed during the photoshoot directed by LEGS, which Elly described as both sophisticated and suggestive.

The attorney for the rapper, known as Bomb, stated on Monday that the music video, like countless performances and films before it, featured actors touching – in this case, West and An.

Honestly, I’ve been following this whole thing so closely, and it’s just baffling. Throughout the entire production, she never once said she was unhappy with her part, never hinted she didn’t want to be there, and she didn’t try to stop the show. And believe me, I’ve scoured everything – even her lawsuit doesn’t claim any of that! It’s like she’s completely changing her story now.

Ye’s lawyer argued that allowing these claims to move forward could create a dangerous precedent. It would mean anyone involved in creating potentially controversial art – like movies, plays, or music videos with mature themes – could be held legally responsible, even years later, if a performer expressed regret or changed their mind about being involved.

Jenn is asking for a jury trial to seek additional compensation – including punitive damages, legal costs, and money for the emotional, physical, and reputational harm she has suffered.

She first gained recognition at age 23 as a contestant on America’s Next Top Model, finishing fourth in season 13, which aired in 2009 on The CW.

As someone who keeps up with all things entertainment, I remember seeing her pop up in some really popular shows! She had guest roles on shows like *The Mindy Project* on Hulu, the long-running CBS procedural *Criminal Minds*, and even a stint on ABC’s *Grey’s Anatomy*. It’s always fun to see actors building their resumes with appearances in these kinds of series.

Rapper West, who continues to attract over 60 million monthly listeners on Spotify, is releasing his eleventh studio album, ‘Bully,’ this Friday.

The Heil Hitler hip-hop star is next scheduled to perform live on November 29 in São Paulo, Brazil.
