Kanye West shared that he feels he may have been a ‘Royal Ruler’ in a previous existence, explaining his deep affection for Japan.

37-year-old American rapper frequently travels with his spouse, Bianca Censori, to Japan. Recently, he shared insights on what draws him to this captivating nation.

In the recent installment of Justin Laboy’s podcast, The Download, Kanye shared his thoughts: “I have a deep affection for temples. It’s the sense of respect and camaraderie that I find particularly appealing.

‘And my wife said that in a past life I was a king, I was an emperor out here.’

As North West, his oldest daughter, embarks on a journey into the music industry, the father of four voiced his hopes that she would carry on his legacy by becoming undeniably exceptional.

The star shared: “Teaching has always appealed to me, as it’s in my family tradition – both my parents are educators. I seem to have inherited the teaching gene naturally.

I’m pondering over the idea that her upcoming album will be extraordinary, and I can feel all the knowledge I’ve gathered flowing into her work.

I aspire for her to reach great heights, emulating the legacy of kings from Africa, as if the succession is simply a natural progression.

Last month, the artist North unexpectedly appeared on FKA Twigs’ third studio album, EUSEXUA, skillfully rapping in fluent Japanese on a track called “Childlike Things.

The track has already earned North a top 10 hit on a Billboard songs chart this week   

Meanwhile in August, she stunned listeners when she also sang in Japanese on his Vultures 2 album. 

Additionally, she had earlier shared her intentions to launch her first album titled “Elementary School Graduate,” which honors Kanye West’s 2004 album, “The High School Dropout.

Currently, Kanye West is no longer set to earn a $20 million contract for performances in Japan due to his contentious act during the Grammy Awards.

At the Grammys red carpet event on Sunday, Bianca Censori, the wife of a famous star, caused a global stir by donning a see-through gown that appeared almost invisible, revealing her bare body beneath it.

Initially, Kanye West was scheduled for two performances at the Tokyo Dome in May; however, after his controversial nude stunt, his financial backers became apprehensive.

According to a source, Kanye West appears to be squandering each chance he receives. His recent actions were incredibly unsettling and have been met with shock and dismay in Japan.

He stated: “Japan is experiencing a significant shift in cultural values regarding women’s rights, and the MeToo movement holds considerable influence. Actions like his are perceived as exerting harmful control, which is absolutely intolerable. He has made a grave error in understanding Japan’s cultural norms.

This is unfortunate as he has been living in a hotel in Tokyo for most of the last year.

According to a source, the Japanese investors supporting the concerts are deeply displeased. It seems quite possible that they will withdraw their financial support for the performances.

It appears he underestimated the Japanese population’s acceptance for these actions, which now means he is no longer accepted or welcomed.

As someone who closely follows his journey, I must say this turn of events will undoubtedly be a significant setback for him. For the past year or so, he’s been immersed in Japan, practically residing there full-time. It seems that this particular circumstance took him by surprise.
