Kamitsubaki City Ensemble, a Rhythm RPG opens for pre-registrations ahead of a scheduled release on August 29, 2024

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I’ve played everything from text-based adventures to VR simulations, and I must admit that the upcoming release of KAMITSUBAKI CITY ENSEMBLE has piqued my interest. The fusion of rhythm game mechanics with role-playing elements is a refreshing take on the genre, especially given the intriguing storyline and the mysterious AI girls and witches.

KAMITSUBAKI Studio has commenced the process of registering users in advance for their upcoming rhythm-based role-playing game titled “KAMITSUBAKI CITY ENSEMBLE.” Published by Furyu_Sg, this title will be available on Android, iOS, Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch platforms. The game boasts more than 48 main tracks, with an additional 100 tracks available as downloadable content. Pre-registration is currently underway for the premium version of KAMITSUBAKI CITY ENSEMBLE, which is slated to be released later this month.

In this game, you find yourself awakening in a devastated world where your task is to restore what was once yours using your enchanting melodies. The game offers a variety of five AI girls and five witches, each possessing magical abilities to aid in the reconstruction process. As you progress, you uncover the mystery behind the destruction of the world and learn about the origin of these “AI Girls”.

The game offers 4 different levels of difficulty, with the number of lanes growing from four to seven as you advance, providing a test for both beginners and seasoned players. You can boost your score by stringing together combos and preserving a flawless sequence while the AI girls (or Witches) perform energetically to the beat.

A season pass can be purchased that grants access to over 100 different tracks, with even more tracks expected to become available in the future. The KAMITSUBAKI CITY ENSEMBLE offers multilingual support, catering to users who speak Japanese, Korean, English, and Chinese.

FURYU Corporation created the game for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5 consoles, with Kamitsubaki Studio and Studio Lalala taking charge of its Steam edition.

Registration for KAMITSUBAKI CITY ENSEMBLE is now open across Android, iOS, Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5 systems. The game will be released on August 29th, 2024, priced at $3.59. For a comprehensive list of launch tracks, please check the game’s official website.
