Kaitlin Olson’s Surprising Take on Morgan and Karadec’s Romance Will Leave You Speechless!
I’m an enthusiastic fan of Morgan and Karadec from the show “High Potential”. Every week, I eagerly watch their crime-solving adventures on Hulu, secretly hoping for a romantic connection between them. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any development in that area yet. Recently, Kaitlin Olson, who plays a role in the series, has spoken up about our shared desire, offering both enlightening and frustrating remarks.
After High Potential’s prediction regarding the 2025 TV schedule, I’ve been eagerly anticipating news about Season 2. Fortunately, Olson recently discussed the show with TV Insider, and she was inquired about fan desires for a Morgan and Karadec romance. The actress shared her perspective on their workplace relationship and how she portrays it, stating:
I’m not playing into that, it’s so funny.
It’s amusingly frustrating that Olson openly admitted she isn’t considering a potential romance. Admirably, I admire the fact that High Potential steers clear of typical romantic pitfalls and cliches. Yet, when it comes to Margan and Karadec, I can’t help but hope they get together soon. Their chemistry is palpable!
After listening to the “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star discuss the intricate relationship dynamics between her character and her professional partner, it becomes crystal clear why she avoids playing up their romantic undertones. The actress explained that Morgan perceives Karadec and interacts with him in a certain way, while he responds to this treatment in specific ways.
In simpler terms, “I act just like Morgan, jokingly teasing him as if he’s my bothersome little brother. However, I admire Daniel Karadec and his interactions with this woman. He’s unsure about her feelings towards him – is she flirting, hating, or loving him?

Without a doubt, Karadec’s perplexity about Morgan is laugh-out-loud funny, as they couldn’t be more different. The way Olson’s character spars with Daniel Sunjata’s detective keeps me engaged, and it’s a tension I hope continues indefinitely.
Yet, it’s been delightful watching Karadec become more affectionate towards Morgan, and it’s heartening to see him genuinely care for her. This gradual development makes me hopeful for a romantic relationship reminiscent of Bones between them, which is exactly the kind of storyline I’m eagerly anticipating.
I find comfort in the last remarks made by the actress from Hacks about this issue. Her words suggest a possibility that it might occur.
I’m really into expressing my views on social media regarding the current situation, and I also have some firm opinions about JD Pardo’s portrayal of the Tom character. However, we’re going to take a more gradual approach with this, but rest assured, you’ll eventually get a response from me.
I’m thrilled that we’re going to find out the solution, it’s really intriguing! Moreover, it’s fascinating that Olson understands the dynamics of the shippers and skillfully portrays the interactions between his character and the detective.
I’m really looking forward to watching how Morgan and Karadec’s relationship progresses, both personally and professionally, as “High Potential” is coming back to ABC for its second season this autumn.
