KAIJU NO. 8 THE GAME, a turn-based role-playing RPG developed by Akatsuki Games Inc., features a limited number of in-game currencies – primarily Credits and Dimensional Crystals. Dimensional Crystals are the only currency you can buy with real money. Fortunately, the game offers a free-to-play experience, and there are multiple ways to earn Dimensional Crystals within KAIJU NO. 8 THE GAME.

How to get Dimensional Crystals in KAIJU NO. 8 THE GAME

Dimensional Crystals are useful for many things in the game, such as getting new characters and weapons through the Gacha system. But if you’re like me and want to play without spending money, don’t worry! I’ll show you how to earn these Dimensional Crystals completely free – you won’t need to spend a single penny.

1. Events

As a player, I’ve found that events like the Beginner’s Guide, Friend Invitation, and others are seriously the best way to get those Dimensional Crystals. So, I always make sure to check back regularly to see what new events are running!

2. Raid Battle Missions

Here, you can finish Raid Battle Missions – such as getting the Boss’s HP below 25% with everyone playing – to get Dimensional Crystals for each mission, plus other goodies. You can also complete Co-Op Damage Daily challenges and Limited-Time missions.

3. Main Story, Memories, and Character Stories

You can also obtain Dimensional Crystals by continuing with the Main Story, revisiting chapters through Memories, and unlocking Character Stories. While you won’t get massive amounts at once, it’s a consistent way to earn them, which is great. I find this to be the most convenient method, as it’s simple and lets you experience more of the story.

4. In-game Mail and Messages

You can usually get the most Dimensional Crystals from rewards like those for pre-registering, receiving compensation, and celebrating in-game events – check your in-game mail! For example, the 850k Pre-registration bonus gave me 1000 Dimensional Crystals by itself. Don’t forget to look at Messages too, as you can earn crystals just by reading messages from the characters.

5. Achievements

Now let’s look at the Achievements section. It features more than 140 Achievements that give you Dimensional Crystals and other goodies. It’s also a fantastic way to stay engaged and keep playing the game.

6. Trial Battles

Trial Battles allow you to experiment with new Units before spending resources to obtain them, and earning Dimensional Crystals as a reward is a great perk. Currently, you can test out 5-star Units such as Soshiro and Reno using a special currency.

7. Player Rank-Up

You can also earn Dimensional Crystals and other rewards by leveling up your Account through the Main Story or by playing other game modes. This is a simple way to get them, as you receive them just by playing – often without even noticing! Don’t forget to claim your rewards from the Rank Up tab.

8. Special Requests

These Special Requests are like optional side missions, and you can complete them pretty easily if you have a well-developed team. I particularly enjoy these because they give you a large number of Dimensional Crystals, and the other rewards are excellent as well. Don’t forget to upgrade your Units, as the Kaiju you’ll face here are quite powerful.
