Kaia Gerber turns to bestie Ayo Edebiri for company after throwing shade at ‘d*ckhead’ ex boyfriend in cryptic post

As I delve into Kaia Gerber‘s captivating life, it seems that she is not just a pretty face gracing the runways and magazine covers, but also a woman with a rich tapestry of experiences. Her transition from modeling to acting is indeed intriguing, and it appears she has quite the knack for it!

On Thursday, Kaia Gerber combined work and leisure as she ventured out for some of her daily activities.

It seems the leading figure was out and about handling some private affairs, which involved dropping by for a meeting regarding a project, even though the specific reason for the gathering remained unclear.

As the fashion model (or catwalk queen) departed from the venue of her Los Angeles meeting, she was observed stepping out of the same structure, dressed in a laid-back stylish manner, mingling with fellow fashion enthusiasts, including her good friend and actress Ayo Edebiri.

Afterward, the friends drove briefly to a nearby eatery, where they savored meals, refreshing beverages, and engaging chats.

The duo’s outing took place two days following what appeared to be a subtle jab by Gerber at an old flame, as she was spotted reading a book titled ‘To You, Terrible One’. (At present, she is in a relationship with Austin Butler; her past boyfriends include Pete Davidson and Jacob Elordi.)

During their time together, Gerber, aged 22, donned relaxed-fitting, worn-out blue denims that had faded over time. He paired this with a short-sleeved, dark blue shirt featuring a cropped design, and completed the look with a pair of dark ballet flats.

Along with her, the model had a gray sweater as well – useful should she find herself in chilly, air-conditioned environments. She either wore it or slung it casually around her shoulders.

To complete her total appearance, Gerber opted for minimal accessories and styled her rich brown hair long, cascading down over her chest in the front, while extending past the mid-back length with a central parting.

After meeting at the restaurant, the up-and-coming actress was spotted collecting her mobile phone and sliding it into her back pocket, preparing for the brief stroll from her parked SUV towards the entrance.

28-year-old Edebiri chose a casual, breezy look for the summer, donning denim shorts, a white t-shirt under a black button-up shirt, and finished off with white sneakers.

Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, she wore her dark hair in long, thick braids that extended beyond her shoulder blades, tied up in a ponytail.

With a water bottle and her phone, the renowned young actress wore a bag containing her necessities, which she casually hung across her left shoulder.

According to a report from E! News, the two women have grown so close that they’ve symbolized their lifelong friendship with matching tattoos, as shared by Gerber more recently.

Edebiri came up with the concept shortly following their stint on Saturday Night Live in February, and Gerber quickly jumped on board, eager to complete the tasks associated with the idea.

Currently, this pair has chosen to conceal their rather new tattoos from public view temporarily.

Known primarily for her portrayal of Sydney Adamu in the acclaimed FX on Hulu show The Bear, which features Jeremy Allen White as the main character, Edebiri has garnered a Golden Globe Award, Primetime Emmy Award, and Screen Actors Guild Award during her three seasons on the series.

The psychological comedy-drama show has been approved for production on its fourth season.

Edebiri’s acting resume in Hollywood features a recurring part on the mockumentary sitcom Abbott Elementary (2023), as well as roles in the adult animated series Clone High (2023-2024) and Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2024 to the present).

On Tuesday, Gerber casually posted on Instagram a picture of herself relaxing on a sunbed, flaunting her toned midriff in a small black triangle swimsuit, subtly referencing an old relationship.

Kaia found herself engrossed in a novel titled ‘Dear So-and-So’, which she marked with a star: ‘A book for an old acquaintance’. Meanwhile, she underlined a particular passage that read: ‘At this stage, your remarkable stupidity deserves a certain level of admiration.’

It continued, ‘But it doesn’t change the basics: I don’t give a sh** about you. All my love to your sister, she was a wonderful friend.’ 

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I couldn’t help but notice the overwhelming support from my friends, colleagues, and fellow stars when I recently shared a post that seemed to hint at someone in our circle. Their responses suggested they were well aware of whom I was alluding to, underscoring the close-knit bond we share.

In her brief romantic history, she has been rumored to have had relationships with model Wellington Grant, comedian-actor Pete Davidson, actor Priscilla from ‘The Kissing Booth’, and Austin Butler of Elvis fame; however, none of these connections were officially confirmed as dating by reliable sources. As of 2021, she has been reportedly involved with Austin Butler.

In terms of her professional path, Gerber is gradually redirecting a portion of her attention from modeling towards her rapidly growing acting career. Notably, she has at least five upcoming projects that she’s set to appear in.

Recently, Apple TV+ announced they will be producing a second season of the period comedy-drama series “Palm Royale” starring her, but as yet, no release date has been set.

Cindy Crawford’s daughter, who is also a businessman’s child (Rande Gerber), currently has four movies in various stages of post-production: the horror film Shell, the biographical comedy-drama Saturday Night, the grand melodrama Mother Mary, and the darkly humorous movie titled Outcome.
