Kaia Gerber models the ‘perfect’ nightie she helped design and it’s already selling out
As a dedicated follower of the dynamic world of fashion and entertainment, I find myself captivated by Kaia Gerber‘s latest endeavor. The daughter of the legendary Cindy Crawford, her journey mirrors the trajectory of a fairytale, albeit one with an enviable runway twist.
Kaia Gerber was seen modeling a new nightie.
This project involves teamwork with Library Science, specifically the online book club run by Kaia and Alyssa Reeder, as well as Dôen.
Kaia Gerber, the daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, aged 58 and 62 respectively, posted a sequence of images on her Instagram featuring her in a nightgown.
This semi-transparent nightwear exuded a vintage vibe, boasting a ruffled, off-the-shoulder neckline, a row of buttons running vertically along the front, and a hem adorned with ruffles, ending just above the mid-thigh.
She posted, “We designed the ideal nightgown in collaboration with @shopdoen and @libraryscienceto aid @roomtoread. Enjoy a snug holiday read! (It seems some sizes have already sold out – is everything alright?)
The nightgown, titled Lillian, was influenced by the shared passion for immersing oneself in a captivating book, as expressed by Kaia (aged 23) and Reeder. This is mentioned in a recent press statement.
This item is priced at $248, with 20% of the earnings being donated to Room to Read, a charitable organization dedicated to fostering literacy and advocating for gender equality.
Her brother, model Presley Gerber, 25, left a comment on the post, writing, ‘Sick.’
At ten years old, just like her renowned mom, Kaia embarked on a modeling career, becoming part of Young Versace’s inaugural campaign. When she turned sixteen, she made her debut on the runway for Calvin Klein.
In the previous year, Gerber expressed deep admiration for her mother, noting that their collaboration across time has elevated their bond to unprecedented heights.
Kaia shared with People that it feels as though we’ve built an exceptionally robust connection beyond the typical mother-daughter relationship, making these recent years incredibly enjoyable for me.
Cindy, 58, agreed. ‘We went to Burning Man together,’ she told the outlet.
‘We just did a retreat together, we both love reading,’ Cindy added.
Sure thing!
For the past two years, Kaia has been transitioning from modeling to acting. She played Mitzi in AppleTV’s popular series Palm Royale, allowing her to showcase her comedic skills.
In an interview for The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Generation Talent edition, the model opened up about her acting career, sharing her relaxation techniques during filming, and other interesting tidbits.
It turns out that playing things seriously, even when they seem absurd, benefits me in my style of comedy. I always strive to genuinely believe in the actions I portray, regardless of their apparent silliness.
The interviewer wondered about her profession if she weren’t an actress or model. She shared that she would like to be a librarian, though she doesn’t hold a library science degree just yet, making her technically not a librarian at this moment.
She added: ‘However, I do curate libraries for people, so I would say librarian adjacent.’
Besides disclosing her methods for unwinding on the set, she mentioned that she enjoys reading books as a means of relaxation. More specifically, during filming, she prefers to read shorter stories since they are more convenient to start and stop.
Kaia talked about the album she’s been listening to the most lately, revealing it is Charli XCX’s Brat.
She expressed that she still wants to hold onto the idea of having a “Brat” summer, despite the fact that autumn is already here.
As a seasoned lifestyle guide, I’d share that, despite being born into the glamorous world of Tinseltown with renowned parents, there’s an intriguing story from my life that perfectly encapsulates the Hollywood experience – one that I’ve yet to encounter anywhere else.
It’s quite plausible that I had Pamela Anderson serving as a crossing guard in my elementary school, complete with the iconic yellow safety vest. At the time, I hadn’t realized what an exceptional experience that was for me.
In a 2008 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Pam Anderson discussed her job as a school crossing guard.
On Mondays, I serve as the safety monitor at my children’s school, complete with a bright vest. The heat is quite intense, she noted as a mother of two.
She mentioned that you assist the children in getting to school. More specifically, you help them exit the vehicle and afterwards, close the car door.
Given her jam-packed acting schedule and the early school rush for her boys, I’d often find myself reporting to set with my glitzy stage makeup intact.
She typically arrives home between 3 and 4 a.m., waking up at 6:30 a.m. to prepare breakfast for her children. At 8 a.m., they head off to school, leaving her to wash their faces. People often give her strange looks, she added.
I receive many pats on the back. Other parents find it amusing that I’m present engaging in this. Being a mother, it’s part of the role, yet I genuinely enjoy it.
