Justin Bieber’s father Jeremy reveals secret to his superstar son ‘making his best music’ amid Coachella sellouts

Justin Bieber‘s double Coachella sellouts came as no shock to his father.

Jeremy Bieber, age 50, recently told the Daily Mail he expected the enthusiastic response to his son, age 31, performing at the Coachella Music Festival next April. The announcement of his son’s headlining shows caused all six festival dates to sell out quickly.

Jeremy believes becoming a father has been a major factor in his recent successes, both personally and professionally. He and his wife, Hailey Bieber, welcomed their son, Jack, in August 2024, and he’s enjoying settling into fatherhood.

Jeremy shared with Daily Mail that he’s noticed a real commitment from his friend to fatherhood. He believes becoming a dad has helped him become more centered and is making him create his best work, and Jeremy is very proud of him.

Jeremy added that his son has ‘a very strong work ethic alongside his talent.’

The Canadian pop star proved just how popular he is this week by selling out all of his shows at the 2026 Coachella Music Festival.

The Grammy-winning artist received over $10 million to perform at the Southern California festival, making them the highest-paid performer in the festival’s history, exceeding the earnings of stars like Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.

The organizers of the yearly festival announced ticket information on social media Monday. The festival is scheduled for six days next spring: April 10th, 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th, and 19th.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share some exciting news – and a little update! Our 2026 festival passes are officially sold out! We were absolutely thrilled with the response, and honestly, they went faster than we expected. We announced it with a fun post set to Disclosure’s ‘She’s Gone,’ and it’s been amazing to see so much enthusiasm. Thanks to everyone who snagged a pass – we can’t wait to dance with you in 2026!

They added in the caption, ‘She’s gone, dance on. See you in April.’

Justin Bieber reportedly earned a significant amount of money performing at Coachella, negotiating the deal himself with festival organizer Goldenvoice, without involving an agent.

A source close to the artist said this is a remarkable and independent achievement for a major performer.

As a huge fan, I can really feel it – things are changing for Justin! Seeing him headline Coachella and then ‘Swag’ blowing up like it did, it’s obvious we’re at the beginning of something amazing. It feels like he’s finally taking control of his career, and I’m so excited to see where he takes it.

One social media user replied to Coachella’s announcement with a meme of a teen Bieber winking.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been watching the buzz, and it was so fun to see Justin Bieber’s fans absolutely light up on X (formerly Twitter) when the news of his big performance dropped earlier this month. They were thrilled, and the excitement was contagious!

One fan commented that certain performances mark an artist’s career, while others define a whole generation. They pointed to Justin Bieber headlining Coachella as proof that he’s not losing relevance, but instead, reinventing his place in the music world.

Someone else commented that Justin Bieber being a headliner at Coachella is huge, and his energy combined with his popular songs will likely make for an unforgettable performance.

After hearing Justin Bieber was performing, one fan used a Spongebob meme to express how badly they wanted to get tickets to the popular festival.

‘Me watching everyone get tickets to see Justin Bieber at coachella,’ the fan captioned the meme.

Bieber sold rights to his catalog for $200 million in 2023, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Bieber’s most recent studio album prior to Swag was Justice in 2021.

The album received excellent reviews and produced several hit songs, including the chart-topping “Peaches” and top 10 singles like “Holy,” “Anyone,” and “Ghost.”

In February 2023, Justin Bieber officially canceled the rest of his Justice World Tour. He explained that he’d been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that can cause paralysis on one side of the face.

Bieber had to cancel some concerts on his tour in the fall of 2022, and he shared a heartfelt explanation for his absences on Instagram.

Earlier this year, I shared that I was diagnosed with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, which caused partial facial paralysis. Because of this, I had to cancel the North American part of my Justice Tour.

He said that he suffered health woes after performing a set at the Rock in Rio festival.

He explained that he was completely exhausted after the show and needs to focus on his health. Because of this, he’s taking a break from touring to rest and recover, but assured everyone he’ll be alright.

I’m incredibly proud to have shared this show and its message of justice with everyone. Thank you so much for all your prayers and support! I send you all my love.
