He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
After being arrested, a judge refused to grant him bail since he had put up not only his own but also his mother’s expensive Miami residences, valued at $50 million, as security.
On Wednesday, his appeal to reverse the ruling was denied, and he’ll continue to be held in detention until the trial takes place.
