Justin Bieber officially drops his seventh album Swag as shocked fans react

On Thursday, Justin Bieber ignited the music industry with the announcement that he’d be dropping his seventh studio album later that very evening.

Justin Bieber revealed that his latest album, titled “Swag,” will be released at midnight Eastern Time (ET) or 9 PM Pacific Time (PT). To mark the occasion, he’s lighting up billboards globally and unleashing a wave of social media updates.

31-year-old music sensation sparked intrigue among fans with fresh tracks containing enigmatic verses, hinting at potential marital struggles between him and his spouse, Hailey Bieber (age 28).

Four years ago, Justin put out a new album, containing 21 tracks, following the release of his earlier album “Justice,” which received a mix of positive and negative feedback but still sold well.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, it has been verified that Swag includes guest appearances by artists such as Gunna, Sexyy Red, and Cash Cobain.

Swiftly announcing the release of the album, Bieber and his wife Hailey posted multiple atmospheric pictures featuring them along with their ten-month-old son, Jack Blues, which seemed to be taken specifically for the album.

On Thursday, I took part in the global unveiling of numerous billboards showcasing an upcoming album by the singer. I caught glimpses of these promotional posters in various locations such as New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and even Reykjavik, Iceland.

As a die-hard enthusiast, I couldn’t help but notice some tantalizing glimpses of what appeared to be an LP tracklist in those promotional materials. However, I can’t say for sure whether these snippets accurately represent the ultimate sequence of tunes we’re about to groove to.

Here are the suggested song titles for Swag:

In some cases, the song titles might have been autobiographical in nature, like “Dadz Love” possibly alluding to Justin’s experience of fatherhood for the first time last year.

It appears that some media outlets have hinted at potential issues within his marriage with Hailey, as well as his unconventional public behaviors, through articles titled “Therapy Session” and “Forgiveness.

But other titles seemed primed for love songs, such as Devotion, Soulful and Sweet Spot.

It’s unclear whether or not any of the photos Justin Bieber posted are meant to be the cover for his upcoming album Swag, but a notable black-and-white image shows him bare-chested from behind with Hailey standing in front of them, holding their child Jack.

They seemed to be positioned near the dimly-lit barn entrance, with a compact, lit doorway opposite providing just a narrow beam of light.

To the left, Swag was written in capital letters over a completely black background.

In another image with the Swag logo, the title was enclosed in a sleek, monochrome black frame. Nearby, there was a black-and-white photograph of a bare-chested Justin posing with Jack by a couch, both situated inside an improvised barn setting.

Justin Bieber seemed to leverage the hype surrounding his highly anticipated album release as a platform to publicize his latest venture, his new fashion line called Skylrk.

As a die-hard devotee, I couldn’t contain my excitement when my favorite clothing brand, the one he transitioned to post his public dissociation with Drew House, suddenly unveiled an unexpected collection on their official site!

Currently, the website offers two plain hoodies priced at $160, available in shades of light blue, faded black, or yellow. Additionally, you’ll find numerous pastel-colored tank tops, beanies, sunglasses, and an assortment of slide sandals.

As of Thursday evening, several of the 20 different items appeared to have already sold out.

It came as a shock to fans that Bieber was on the verge of releasing his seventh album, but he hadn’t kept secret the fact that he had been working on it.

Over the past few months, the artist has shared multiple pictures of himself working in his studio, indicating that he’s been steadily advancing with his projects.

However, he had reportedly been nearing completion of an album way back in May 2022.

There’s some confusion about whether the “Swag” album is a continuation of the project he started in 2022, or if it mostly consists of fresh, newly created content.

Bieber’s most recent collection of multiple songs was his 2021 gospel-influenced EP Freedom 

He released his sixth studio album, Justice, earlier that year. 

Although it garnered a mix of positive and negative feedback, it still climbed to the number one spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart and was awarded double platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America.

In simpler terms, Justin has released several albums before, such as Changes from 2020, Purpose from 2015, Believe from 2012, the Christmas album Under The Mistletoe from 2011, and My World 2.0 from 2010.
