Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun’s feud over alleged unpaid MILLIONS takes dramatic new turn after falling out
It appears that Justin Bieber and his ex-manager could soon reach an agreement to resolve their longstanding dispute, which stems from money that Bieber is said to owe, dating back over several years.
It’s being reported by TMZ that the well-known pop artist, aged 31, is in discussions regarding the details of a settlement with Scooter Braun.
According to sources who are well-informed, it might take just a few weeks for Bieber and Braun to finalize their discussions. There’s a possibility that they could reach an agreement as soon as next week.
A fresh update surfaces a month following the disclosure of the findings from an impartial evaluation, indicating that Bieber might owe his ex-manager multiple millions of dollars in unpaid commission fees. However, representatives for the artist challenged these numbers when they initially came out.
Representatives for Bieber and Braun haven’t yet responded to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.
Recently, TMZ disclosed the claimed findings from a private review conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), which was contracted by Braun’s entertainment firm, Hybe America, last month.

After a six-month long probe, it was concluded in April that Justin Bieber supposedly owes Scooter Braun approximately 8 million and 806 thousand dollars.
As a die-hard Belieber, I can’t help but dig deeper into the recent news about Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun’s business dealings. Although Bieber’s team didn’t challenge the findings of the PwC audit in public, they’ve taken matters into their own hands by announcing that they’ve independently audited their business transactions with Scooter. I can’t wait to see what comes out of this! #TeamJustin #BeliebersUnite
However, they didn’t share how its results compared to the independent audit.
Regardless of claims about Justin Bieber’s supposed debts made by a third party, it is said that Braun was prepared to absolve him of the entire $8 million sum.
Yet, according to TMZ’s sources, there remain two significant hurdles that could potentially prevent the signing of the agreement between the two parties.
For his Justice World Tour, starting in February 2022 (originally scheduled for 2020 and later 2021 due to COVID-19), Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) provided Justin Bieber with a substantial $40 million advance payment.
Initially, the concerts planned for June and July 2022 were set to take place, but unfortunately, Justin Bieber had to cancel them after temporarily losing movement in his face due to Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

From late April 2022 up until early September 2022, he embarked on a brief series of performances across Europe, the Nordic nations, and Brazil. However, he eventually had to scrap the rest of the tour.
Justin Bieber informed his followers that he needed rest due to feeling drained, and he decided to prioritize his wellbeing based on advice from his physicians.
In light of the cancellation, it appears that AEG attempted to recover approximately $24 million from Justin Bieber’s initial payment. However, Justin’s company, Hybe, is said to have offered to cover this amount as a form of reimbursement.
In response, it’s said that Bieber was supposed to repay Hybe in regular payments over a period of 10 years. However, it’s alleged that he only made one such payment and then ceased repayments thereafter.
Reports suggest that the early payment issue was a key concern for Braun, and it’s been asserted that Bieber has now consented to reimburse the stated sum.
Based on their account, following the substantial earnings Hailey Bieber gained from the sale of her cosmetics brand Rhode, Justin is now open to resolving any outstanding financial matters.
Interestingly enough, it was stated by Hailey’s close ones to DailyMail.com earlier that there was concern that Justin might exploit her generosity and employ the settlement funds to settle his outstanding obligations.
As a devoted admirer, I found myself among those who passionately suggested on social media platforms that the model should consider parting ways with her spouse, all in an attempt to safeguard her recent wealth.

Yet, a well-known divorce lawyer based in Los Angeles clarified to DailyMail.com that Justin Bieber might receive half of Hailey’s fortune from Rhode if they were to part ways, due to the fact that they apparently didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement before their marriage.
According to reports, Braun has asked Bieber to repay an alleged $11 million in unpaid commissions, a matter not covered by the audit conducted by PwC, which falls beyond its jurisdiction.
Nevertheless, sources close to TMZ claim that Braun is open to settling the debt at a significantly reduced amount, potentially providing a significant relief for Bieber.
Earlier reports by TMZ indicated that Bieber was financially struggling when AEG required the $24 million debt repayment. Consequently, Braun’s firm took care of the entire sum, while Bieber agreed to reimburse Hybe over a period of 10 years.
However, it is reported that the payments stopped following only a single payment, and individuals with connections to Braun informed TMZ that the artist allegedly stated he was unable to continue making the payments due to financial reasons.
However, it was reportedly claimed by Bieber’s confidants that the reason for his halted payments was due to an investigation conducted by his business manager who found evidence suggesting he had been overcharged by Hybe to the tune of approximately $26 million.
In reaction to that assertion, it appears that Hybe conducted an internal investigation, and their findings indicated quite a contrasting outcome: that Justin Bieber actually owed $1 million prior to the agreed repayment of the $24 million.
The team representing Justin Bieber contested the initial internal audit due to concerns it might have been biased towards Hybe, prompting the company to request an unbiased audit from PwC. This subsequent audit concluded that Bieber owed an additional $8 million.

More recently, Braun made headlines following his longstanding disagreement with Taylor Swift, stemming from his acquisition of her master recordings. This dispute found resolution when Swift managed to repurchase all of her initial recordings, the financial details of which remain undisclosed.
However, Braun found himself entangled in a new wave of drama concerning the pop star-turned-country singer, as his former friend Blake Lively has summoned him to testify due to her sexual harassment allegations against her It Ends With Us costar and director, Justin Baldoni.
The subpoenas are requesting documentation pertaining to the crisis management specialist, Melissa Nathan (mentioned in Lively’s explosive lawsuit against Baldoni), along with details about the tasks she performed for Baldoni.
Previously, Braun gained significant recognition by overseeing top-tier musicians such as Justin, Ariana Grande, Kanye West, among others. However, last year, he publicly declared that he was stepping away from artist management.
