Justin Baldoni's lawyer claims he has 'evidence of Blake Lively's pattern of bullying' on It Ends With Us

Justin Baldoni’s legal representative has stated that they possess proof suggesting Blake Lively engaged in a pattern of aggressive behavior, or bullying, during their ongoing disputes on the set of “It Ends With Us.

Full of energy, aged 37, recently featured in “It Ends With Us” alongside director and actor Baldoni, age 40. The movie premiered in cinemas last August and can now be streamed on Netflix.

For several months, there have been whispers about the issue, but eventually, Lively took action by lodging a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department. In this complaint, she accused Baldoni of inserting unwanted kissing sequences during improvisation and fostering an intimidating work environment through sexual harassment and other inappropriate behavior.

A single day after the event, The New York Times disclosed that Baldoni had engaged a crisis PR firm to discredit and undermine Lively, leading Lively to file a lawsuit against Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, on the same day.

In response, Baldoni decided to take legal action, filing a defamation claim amounting to $250 million, due to the New York Times’ article which they asserted was pushing an unsubstantiated and personally beneficial account.

Attorney Bryan Freedman claims to have evidence, or proof, that Lively allegedly threatened to control the film production, according to a recent statement he made to People on January 7th.

He pointed out that it’s quite ironic for Blake Lively to accuse Justin Baldoni of exploiting media when, in fact, her own team seems to have instigated this malicious attack by providing The New York Times with manipulated documents before even lodging the complaint.

We’re making public all the proof that demonstrates a pattern of intimidation and attempts to seize control of the film.

It won’t be shocking, given Blake Lively’s previous actions, that she employed others to relay threats and intimidate others in order to obtain what she desired. We have evidence to back this up, along with additional proof.

DailyMail.com has contacted Blake Lively’s representatives for comment.

After attorneys representing Lively criticized Baldoni for continuing hostile actions towards their client.

According to Lively’s legal representatives, their allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation are supported by solid evidence.

To clarify, this isn’t about a disagreement stemming from creative discrepancies or a matter of he-said, she-said, as stated by Lively’s legal team at the outset.

According to the accusations made by Ms. Lively in her lawsuit, and what we will demonstrate during court proceedings, Wayfarer Studios and its partners acted unlawfully by retaliating through astroturfing against Ms. Lively, purely because she was taking steps to ensure safety on set. This is the lawyers’ assertion.

In their subsequent comments, they indicated that instead of addressing the lawsuit, they have opted to escalate their assaults on Ms. Lively following her initial filing.

In all workplaces and industries, it is unlawful to engage in sexual harassment or retaliation, as the attorneys explained when discussing common strategies used by perpetrators.

One common strategy to divert attention from such misconduct accusations is to falsely implicate the accuser by claiming they provoked the behavior, were responsible for it happening, misinterpreted the actions, or were dishonest about the situation.

‘A common strategy is to swap the roles of the accused and the accuser, implying that the wrongdoer is actually the one who’s been wronged. This approach serves to make grave accusations seem routine or insignificant,’ they explained.

In essence, it’s crucial to note that media statements do not protect Ms. Lively from her legal issues. Instead, we’ll persist in pursuing her case within the federal court system. The verdict will be decided by the rule of law, rather than exaggerated comments or threats.

In her legal action, Lively asserted that the ongoing defamatory tactics used by Baldoni had led to significant financial losses for her, which she is still experiencing today.

She asserts that her hair care brand, Blake Brown, along with her beverage lines, Betty Buzz and Betty Booze, experienced significant drops in sales as a result of the negative reactions she encountered.

According to the court case, Blake Brown’s sales significantly dropped by as much as 78% when the ‘social influence operation’ began.

According to our internal sales forecasts, the unexpectedly critical media campaign targeting Ms. Lively led to a significant drop in retail sales of Blake Brown’s products, ranging from 56% to 78%.

‘The lawsuit stated: “The sudden decline in sales was unexpected, given the excellent ratings Blake Brown’s products had received during pre-launch consumer testing and their initial success following launch.”‘
