Justin Baldoni’s attorney says Blake Lively on a ‘false victory tour’ after case against her dropped

The attorney representing Justin Baldoni characterized Blake Lively’s public appearance following the dismissal of his case against her on Monday as a “victory lap without merit.

On Tuesday, Freedman appeared on TMZ Live, following the previous day’s court ruling which dismissed a lawsuit worth $400 million that Baldoni had filed against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds. The lawsuit alleged defamation and extortion.

Later that day, a vibrant image of her was captured at the 18th Annual Tribeca Artists Dinner held in New York City on Monday night, following an outstanding day for her.

The attorney acknowledged that although they weren’t happy about the dismissal of the defamation lawsuit, it wasn’t the main focus or essence of the case.

Next, the lawyer summarized the chain of occurrences resulting in the extensive legal dispute related to the unexpected blockbuster movie from last summer.

Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Lively for further comment on the story.

Things kicked off when Blake Lively submitted a CRD complaint, followed by a lawsuit. In her lawsuit, she implicated some admirable individuals in a smear campaign and falsely accused an outstanding young man of sexual harassment, neither of which were accurate,” he explained.

‘And that’s where the case got started’ and ‘where the case stands today.’

Freedman clarified that our victory aims to demonstrate that no smear tactics or instances of sexual harassment were involved, and so far, nothing has been proven against her claims. In reality, the situation seems to suggest quite the contrary.

Freedman shared with TMZ Live that the initial evidence revealed in the court case appears to be quite harmful for Lively and Reynolds.

The actress on Monday released a powerful statement hours after a judge dismissed Baldoni’s case.

A week ago, I stood proudly with 19 other organizations advocating for women’s right to express themselves safely, as stated by Lively on her Instagram post on Monday. Just like many others, I have experienced the anguish of a reprisal lawsuit, and the attempts to impose manufactured guilt that aim to break us.

The Hollywood star from LA went on to say: “Though my lawsuit was dismissed, not everyone has the means to counterattack when faced with similar situations.

With her husband Ryan Reynolds by her side, Lively expressed her unwavering determination to advocate tirelessly for the rights of all women. This includes safeguarding their personal safety, preserving their honor, upholding their dignity, and ensuring that their individual stories are heard.

The actress from Gossip Girl concluded by expressing gratitude to those in the public for their support during a challenging year.

Lively expressed her heartfelt appreciation and gratitude towards those who have supported her, acknowledging that she knows many of you, but also those she doesn’t. Regardless, she promises to always value and champion your causes.

In the midst of her high-profile conflict with Justin Baldoni, the actress from “The It Ends With Us” has acknowledged and appreciated the public support she received by naming various organizations that have stood by her during this tumultuous Hollywood drama, which also affected her friendship with Taylor Swift.

Here are some of the organizations listed: California Employment Lawyers Association, California Women’s Law Center, CHILD USA, Coalition Against Trafficking in Women, Equal Rights Advocates, Esperanza United, Her Justice, and Herunivercity Inc. These organizations were arranged in alphabetical order.

On Thursday, Lively criticized Baldoni, implying it could be a sign of shifting tides in the case, as he claimed that numerous women’s groups have distanced themselves from him in large numbers.

19 prominent advocates for women’s rights, children’s rights, and those dedicated to addressing domestic violence have collectively joined forces on four different legal documents supporting various causes, according to a representative for the actress from Another Simple Favor. This information was shared with Daily Mail in a written statement.

The statement further clarifies: ‘Everyone stands together in resisting Justin Baldoni’s effort to undermine a law established for the safety of women who voice their opinions – all in an apparent self-protection move.’

As a devoted follower, I acknowledge that according to Lively’s team, Baldoni seems to be deviating from his usual strategies amidst the intricate legal proceedings. This move could potentially expose him to heightened scrutiny, given his previous public declarations.

Instead of upholding his stance based on the facts, Baldoni is now inconsistent with his long-standing public image – deviating from the theme he advocated in his YouTube videos, podcasts, TED Talks, and interviews where he previously encouraged men to listen to women in their lives, empathize with their pain, and trust them, even if their stories contradict yours. This is according to Lively’s representative.

These females and groups are raising concerns over his use of DARVO strategies, and how potentially far-reaching the impact could be in situations beyond this specific instance.

Marvel Entertainment, LLC is a party that can now let out a breath of relief, as the lawsuit filed by Baldoni has been dismissed.

Baldoni had issued a subpoena to the studio, requiring them to save any papers pertaining to the character Nicepool (Deadpool and Wolverine hybrid), as Baldoni’s legal team alleged that it was created with the intention of mocking, harassing, ridiculing, intimidating or bullying Baldoni.

Following the dismissal of Baldoni’s lawsuit, Liman consented to Marvel’s petition to “cancel the subpoena directed at Marvel by Baldoni’s Wayfarer Parties and to secure an order preventing the disclosure of Marvel’s confidential files.

On January 7th, Baldoni’s team wrote a letter asking Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and Robert Iger, the CEO of parent company Walt Disney, to keep certain documents on file.

In a lawsuit, Lively alleges that Baldoni behaved inappropriately towards her in a sexual manner. Conversely, Baldoni has counter-claimed Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist Leslie Sloane for defamation and extortion in a $400 million suit. However, the extortion claim against them was dropped on Monday.

In response to claims made by Lively, Baldoni has refuted them. Meanwhile, Lively, Reynolds, and Sloane have all denied allegations leveled against Baldoni in court proceedings.

In December, Lively (formerly of Gossip Girl) filed a lawsuit against Baldoni due to allegations of sexual harassment during film production. Her lawsuit detailed instances where she claimed Baldoni sexually harassed her, such as body shaming her, and manipulated a defamation campaign against her to harm her reputation.

In response to the lawsuit, Baldoni and his representatives assert that Lively distorted the true meaning of text messages exchanged between them and deceived the public concerning the nature of their communications during the filming process.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: “In my legal dispute, I’ve called out several associates of Baldoni, among them being Wayfarer Studios, its CEO and primary investor, as well as public relations professionals Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel.

Unveiling a Hollywood Slander Network’; however, the newspaper has refuted these accusations.

On January 16th, Baldoni brought forward a $400 million lawsuit, accusing Lively, Reynolds, and their publicist Leslie Sloane of defamation and extortion. He claimed in court that this trio had fabricated ‘allegations of sexual harassment’ against him.
