Just dropped! Ted Lasso shares major season 4 update in new video
Ted Lasso fans can rejoice, with a major update being shared regarding its upcoming fourth season.
In March, it was revealed that the next installment of the comedy series on Apple TV+ would be released. Now, exciting news for fans, as production on this new episode is currently in progress.
A recent video posted on the streaming service’s YouTube channel offers a glimpse of what happens off camera. In this video, the main actor, Jason Sudeikis, can be seen seated across from Hannah Waddingham. Additionally, Juno Temple and Jeremy Swift also make an appearance in the video.

It appeared as if the group was shooting a scene at a diner that seemed distinctly American, hinting at a new location. This was further supported by the title of the video, which said: “We’ve left Richmond behind.
Although I won’t be making a permanent shift, my acting journey is taking me back to London for filming at some unspecified time down the line. Interestingly, you might recall that my character bid farewell to South London in the season finale of three, returning to Kansas to manage my son’s football team.
In the summary, we find that Ted is heading back to Richmond to tackle his most formidable task yet – leading a second division women’s football team. As the season unfolds, both Ted and the squad discover the courage to dive in headfirst, seizing opportunities they once deemed impossible.
Besides the previously mentioned group of four, Brett Goldstein and Brendan Hunt will return to their characters, and joining them are several new faces: Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, and Abbie Hern.
In the upcoming season, Gus Turner, known for his portrayal of Ted’s son Henry, will no longer be appearing. His role has been taken over by Grant Feely instead. Additionally, a new face has joined the team off-screen, as Jack Burditt steps in as an executive producer. (Source: Chortle)
In his remarks about the upcoming fourth season, Sudeikis noted that we’re all accustomed to a world where caution is often advised, saying “jump first and then see” – hinting that the characters will be taking risks without fully considering the consequences.
Ted Lasso seasons 1-3 are streaming on Apple TV+. A fourth season has been announced.
