The *Jurassic World* animated series is coming to an end. Netflix recently released the trailer for its fourth and final season during a panel discussion.
Attendees also got a first look at the premiere episode of *Chaos Theory* Season 4. The new season takes place six years after the events of *Camp Cretaceous* and follows the “Nublar Six” as they adjust to life after the islands. Now living in a world where dinosaurs roam and danger lurks, the group reunites after a devastating event and embarks on a worldwide adventure. They’re on the run, trying to uncover a conspiracy that threatens both humans and dinosaurs, and searching for answers about what happened to a missing member. You can find the final season trailer and poster for *Chaos Theory* below.
The fourth and final season of *Chaos Theory* will have nine episodes, each about 22 minutes long. The story follows “The Nublar Six” – Darius, Ben, Kenji, Sammy, Yasmina, and Brooklynn – as they work together to survive dangerous dinosaurs and human enemies in Biosyn Valley. Paul-Mikél Williams, Sean Giambrone, Darren Barnet, Raini Rodriguez, Kausar Mohammed, and Kiersten Kelly reprise their roles as the group. Beatrice Granno, Adam Harrington, and Greg Chun will also be back as Gia, Dodgson, and Dr. Wu, respectively.
Similar to *Camp Cretaceous*, *Chaos Theory* is a production of Universal Pictures, DreamWorks Animation, and Amblin Entertainment. Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley are back as showrunners and also serve as executive producers, alongside Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall. Zesung Kang is the supervising producer for this fourth and final season.
Chaos Theory Concludes the First Jurassic World Era
Season 4 of *Chaos Theory* will wrap up the first major storyline in the *Jurassic* franchise. Following the original *Jurassic Park* films and the *Jurassic World* trilogy – including *Fallen Kingdom* (2018) and *Dominion* (2022) – dinosaurs have now spread worldwide, fulfilling the promise of the new *Jurassic World* title. *Camp Cretaceous* and *Chaos Theory* ran parallel to the *Jurassic World* movies, connecting their stories and occasionally featuring key characters like Dodgson, Dr. Wu, and Soyona Santos.
With the release of *Chaos Theory*, the original *World* trilogy has come to an end, and the franchise is now looking forward. This new era began this summer with *Rebirth*, starring Scarlett Johansson and marking a first for the *Jurassic* series by featuring an entirely new cast of characters. However, fans can expect to see Johansson reprise her role as Zora Bennett in the upcoming *Rebirth* sequel, which is currently in development.
The fourth and final season of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory arrives on Netflix on Nov. 20.
