Juno – A breakdown of Overwatch 2’s newest hero
As a seasoned gamer with over a decade of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that Juno’s arrival in Overwatch 2 is nothing short of exhilarating! After witnessing the hype and anticipation surrounding her playtest phase, it’s finally time for us to strap in and blast off into the next frontier of competitive gaming.
The Space Ranger has landed from Mars.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to announce that Juno has made her grand debut! After undergoing rigorous testing, she’s now gearing up for Season 12 in Overwatch 2. The anticipation surrounding Juno, our latest support hero, has been palpable since the initial playtest phase. With the new season just a few days away, I can’t wait to see her in action across all my games! It’s going to be an exciting ride!
Juno and her abilities in Overwatch 2
With her successful landing on Mars now complete, Juno is all set to carry out her swift support function. Equipped with both healing and damaging capabilities, Juno can effortlessly maneuver across any given battlefield.
Juno’s primary and secondary fire
Juno’s main weapon is her Mediblaster, which not only harms enemies but also heals her allies with each burst of fire. Her secondary weapon, the Pulsar Torpedoes, functions differently. It first targets nearby enemies and allies, then upon firing, the torpedoes are launched, causing damage and healing allies continuously over time.

The Space Ranger’s abilities and ultimate
As far as Juno’s skills in Overwatch 2 are concerned, she boasts two primary abilities, much like many other characters. Her main method of getting around is Glide Boost, which enables her to glide horizontally at an accelerated pace. Additionally, her passive ability lets her double jump and maintain her airtime by hanging in the air. This makes Juno as elusive as a blurry UFO image on a photograph. On top of that, she has Hyper Ring, an ability designed to aid her team. When allies pass through this ring, their movement speed increases, making them more mobile.

To sum up, Juno’s ultimate skill, Orbital Ray, may seem like a devastating attack on Overwatch 2 heroes, but it actually works in reverse. Instead of causing destruction, it beams energy from the sky that moves forward. Any allies caught within this beam will receive increased damage output and healing benefits. While we don’t have the exact figures yet, think of it as being similar to Ana’s Nano Boost, except instead of reducing damage, the beam provides healing.

You can expect Juno to debut once Season 12 of Overwatch 2 goes live across the game’s entire community. When she does arrive, don’t forget to put in some effort and play those competitive matches to climb the ranks!
