  • Stellar Blade will be released for PC on June 11 and will introduce some new features and fresh content.
  • A free patch will be released for PS5 players on the same day.
  • Shift Up is moving onto its next project while also planning the Stellar Blade sequel.

On June 11th, the computer version of “Stellar Blade” is set to debut, introducing some fresh features and extra content for gamers to explore. Players who are currently enjoying “Stellar Blade” on the PlayStation 5 can rest easy knowing that a free update will become available on the same day as the PC release.

In May, Shift Up unveiled the Complete Edition of Stellar Blade, scheduled for release on June 11 on both PC and PlayStation 5. This version boasts 25 new Nano Suits, a fresh boss battle, and voiceovers and facial expressions in Japanese or simplified Chinese for players who prefer those languages. Pre-orders come with several incentives such as Eve’s Classic Round Glasses, the Nier: Automata and Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLCs, and more goodies. PC buyers can access all these perks right away, while PlayStation 5 owners can update their game to reap these numerous advantages if they already own it.

On June 11, the PC edition of the game “Stellar Blade” will be launched. This version comes equipped with Nvidia DLSS 4 resolution scaling and frame generation technology, as well as AMD FSR 3 for enhanced performance. Players are invited to test their systems to the max, with unlocked frame rates, along with support for ultrawide 21:9 and super ultrawide 32:9 resolutions. Additionally, players can use DualSense controllers, and all controls can be tailored to individual preferences through customizable keybinds. The PC demo of “Stellar Blade” has received outstanding support, with a peak of 26,433 simultaneous players on Steam, which is promising news for Shift Up.

Stellar Blade PC Release and Free PS5 Update Release Date

  • June 11, 2025

Enthusiasts can’t wait for the seamless debut of the game following some past troubles that sparked frustration among potential PC gamers. The unexpected region lock on Stellar Blade in Steam back in May left over a hundred countries unable to play the game. Thankfully, it appears this problem has been resolved, and players no longer need to connect a PSN account to enjoy the game on their PCs. However, Shift Up has opted to retain the contentious Denuvo DRM system, which gamers are hoping will be addressed in future updates.

As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but feel a tinge of excitement as I watch the developer of Stellar Blade shift gears towards their next big project. This week, they’ve given us a sneak peek into Project Spirits, an upcoming title that promises to captivate players on various platforms with its Eastern Fantasy theme. This new intellectual property is heavily narrative-driven and boasts a massive open world, along with classic RPG elements. Though there’s no concrete release date yet, I can hardly contain my anticipation to see what this Korean studio has up their sleeves.
