Juliette learns something about Solo in Silo season 2, episode 5 (Preview)

As a seasoned gamer who’s been through countless post-apocalyptic narratives, I can confidently say that Silo’s second season is shaping up to be quite the rollercoaster ride. The latest episode 5 seems to be no exception, promising more intrigue and suspense than ever before.

There’s still much unknown regarding Silo 17. It’s high time we uncover some more secrets in the fifth episode of Silo’s second season.

Was it reasonable to assume Solo would always be honest from the start? Given his years, if not decades, of solitude, it’s understandable that some event during the failed rebellion shaped him into a man who doesn’t easily trust. It seems he wasn’t the only survivor back then, and therefore, it’s no surprise that he hasn’t confided everything in Juliette yet.

In the upcoming episode, Juliette discovers that Solo has kept a secret from her. The question is, what exactly has he lied about? Was it related to the events following the rebellion, or perhaps more about his identity?

Sims gets a new job in Silo season 2, episode 5

While Sims prepares for a change in role, Bernard stays vigilant. He’s always one step ahead, tirelessly safeguarding the silo, aware of the dire consequences if he fails to control and secure it. Even though we might oppose Bernard, the fate of Silo 17 serves as a stark reminder of why he’s so apprehensive about any uprising.

Currently, Bernard finds himself in a situation where he must address the issue concerning the Sims case. Given that Sims is the one who murdered Judge Meadows, a fact which Bernard can verify, there’s potential for public sentiment to shift against him. The vacant position of Judge could be an opportunity Bernard might consider, as it offers more leverage compared to the head of Judicial Security. It wouldn’t be unreasonable to speculate that he may choose to appoint Sims in this role instead.

It appears we’ll be seeing more of Lukas now, given his sentence was reduced from 10 years to just five. Bernard speculates that Judge Meadows may have recognized something about Lukas, perhaps due to his talent for drawing celestial scenes. After all, Lukas wasn’t exactly secretive about this talent. So, it’s not too shocking that he’s being released from the mines once more?

In the books, Lukas seems to always follow in Bernard’s footsteps. Could this dynamic between them be explored further in Silo season 2, episode 5? Given the danger of being sent back to the mines, Lukas may prove to be a more manageable companion for Bernard compared to Sims.

Dealing with the aftermath of Judge Meadows’ death

Undoubtedly, there’s much work to be done following the tragic murder of Judge Meadows. The community in the silo is demanding justice, and they firmly believe that Knox and Shirley are responsible for the crime. They seek retribution against them.

It’s highly probable that we’ll witness the beginnings of an uprising in Mechanical. While Knox and Shirley will have the support of the Mechanical populace, those in power won’t be convinced by them. Bernard may believe this move will prevent a rebellion, but the people know Knox and Shirley would never harm Judge Meadows. Instead, Bernard has inadvertently ignited the flames of rebellion among the citizens of Mechanical. Now, it appears we’re facing an all-out conflict!
