Julie Chrisley resentenced to seven years in bank fraud and tax evasion case leaving Savanah Chrisley ‘in ruins’

On Wednesday, a federal judge did not grant a more lenient sentence to the 51-year-old former TV star, who is disgraced, stating that it would not be altered, even in response to her appeal.
Three months later, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals found that Julie’s original sentence was incorrectly calculated and lacked sufficient proof to support her complete participation in the bank fraud case.
A trusted source near the family disclosed that her resentencing left Savannah, aged 27, deeply affected as she had been certain that her mother would be released and had even arranged for a celebration.
According to the source, the rest of the Chrisley family are concerned that Savannah’s continuous discussions about their case could potentially harm her parents’ situation.
They stated that Savannah was devastated, as she had meticulously arranged everything for Julie’s return. She was confident beyond measure that Julie would be set free.
There were festive adornments, an abundance of food prepared for a grand homemade feast complete with all the accompaniments, as everyone eagerly anticipated a warm homecoming celebration.
‘This makes no sense to Savannah who has spent every waking moment doing everything she can.’
As reported by the source, Savannah is outraged that Anna Delvey managed to participate in Dancing with the Stars while wearing an ankle monitor, seemingly for less serious offenses.
They continued: ‘She says it’s a slap in the face. But her rhetoric and nonstop talking isn’t helping the case at all.

Addressing the judge, she said: ‘I apologize for my actions and what led me to where I am today.’
In my personal experience, enduring incarceration has undeniably been the toughest period I’ve faced. It wasn’t just a challenge for me but also put a strain on those dear to me.
She expressed regret, saying that she could never fully repay her children for the hardships they’ve faced, and for that, she was truly sorry.
In the month of July 2022, Julie and her spouse, Todd (age 55), were officially declared responsible for devising a scheme aimed at deceiving local banks, leading to the loss of over $30 million through false loan applications.
In simpler terms, it appears that the Chrisleys have been convicted for tax fraud due to concealing their income, despite portraying a lavish lifestyle on TV. They are set to serve their sentences starting from January 2023.
In September 2023, Julie was sentenced to serve five and a half years at the Federal Medical Center Lexington, whereas Todd was given a 10-year term in a federal penitentiary located in Pensacola.
Savannah, their daughter, has been outspoken about the appalling circumstances that her incarcerated parents have experienced within the prison system.
In July, she asserted that excessive heat in Julie’s Kentucky prison led her mother to fall gravely unwell.
Savannah remarked in the visiting area that it was fortunate they had an air conditioner, given the reported conditions at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington.
‘But outside the visitation room, there is zero air conditioning.
In those sweltering temperatures of 105 degrees Fahrenheit, it’s been unbearably hot for Mom, enduring such conditions without even a breath of fresh air.
‘And it can be 100 degrees inside the building.’
Savannah continued: ‘She literally said that she got physically sick because she got so hot.
“There are some women who are experiencing heat exhaustion and fainting. However, there are also service dogs equipped with cooling systems.
I find it all completely illogical. It’s unfathomable cruelty, as if fabricated by fiction. It’s also very hard to accept.
In July, she showcased her endeavors at the Republican National Convention held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There, she voiced her criticism against the legal proceedings and the subsequent conviction of her parents, whom she asserts were unjustly targeted due to their high public profile and conservative ideologies.
She drew a parallel between the supposed unjust actions towards them and the controversy surrounding Trump during his high-profile hush money trial with Stormy Daniels, which some insiders believe was strategically done to win Trump’s sympathy, potentially leading him to help with their case.
Julie and Todd both made their name on Chrisley Knows Best, which premiered in 2014.
It followed Todd, an Atlanta-based, self-made millionaire, and the family’s various exploits.
In 2023, it unexpectedly ended due to the couple’s convictions that resulted from a thorough investigation by the Department of Justice.
