Julian McMahon Dies At 56, Star Of Fantastic Four, Marvel’s Runaways, & Charmed

56-year-old Australian actor Julian McMahon, who had a long-standing career spanning both film and television, has sadly passed away. He gained widespread recognition for his villainous roles in Marvel’s Fantastic Four films (2005 and 2007) and Marvel’s Runaways series as Jonah/Magistrate, but also left a lasting impact on other genres through his portrayal of Cole Turner in Charmed, Christian Troy in Nip/Tuck, and Jess LaCroix in FBI: Most Wanted.

On July 4th, 2025, Deadline announces that Julian McMahon passed away on the 2nd of July after a quiet struggle with cancer. His wife, Kelly McMahon, disclosed to Deadline, “I deeply feel compelled to let everyone know that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, passed away peacefully this week after putting up a brave fight against cancer.” You can read her entire statement below:
