Julia Stiles: ‘Starstruck’ by Taylor Swift at Party!

A nineties movie star has said she got ‘starstruck’ by Taylor Swift.

Julia Stiles is the actress, recognized for her work alongside Heath Ledger in “10 Things I Hate About You” and with Matt Damon in the “Jason Bourne” film series.

At a gathering, the 43-year-old actress found herself in the presence of the 35-year-old chart-topping pop sensation. She was pleasantly surprised when the woman behind “Shake It Off” went up to her and expressed some genuinely kind words.

Inquired about the most recent self-discovery, she responded: ‘I discovered that I can perform effectively with minimal rest, given my roles as a mother and a director. Furthermore, I found out that I excel in juggling multiple tasks simultaneously.’

The actress who played the lead role in Save the Last Dance has just started her career as a director with the release of the romantic drama titled Wish You Were Here.

The movie ‘Wish You Were Here’ narrates the tale of Charlotte (Isabelle Fuhrman), who encounters a passionate night with Adam (Mena Massoud) only to find out the following day that he is terminally ill. Julia interprets the image as symbolizing the vulnerability and transience of human existence.

The star recently shared with Collider: ‘I found it wonderful that it explores the idea of being fortunate to accumulate a lifetime of memories with the one you fall in love with, rather than the common theme in many romantic movies about falling in love at first sight. It also emphasizes the importance of caring for another person, which I believe is particularly relevant in today’s times.’

‘Since I initially read the book, the film seems to have developed an identity of its own. Stiles rarely discusses her late co-star from 10 Things I Hate About You, Heath Ledger, who passed away in 2008. However, she recently opened up about her true feelings regarding the exceptionally talented Australian actor.

Although they shared a strong connection in that ’90s teen movie, it’s important to note that their relationship was purely platonic, as she later clarified.

Stiles remembered Ledger as being ‘very kind and generous’ towards her.
