Julia Fox revealed she once charged around $68,000 to an ex-boyfriend’s credit card in a single night, buying numerous designer items.

The 35-year-old Italian-American actress admitted to spending her partners’ money on luxury goods from designers like Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, and Pucci.

In an interview with Sunday Times Style, Julia was asked about the priciest item she’d ever purchased.

She confessed to a wild spending spree, admitting she charged $68,000 worth of designer clothes – including items from Chanel, YSL, and Versace – on her partner’s credit card in a single night. After he broke up with her, she had to sell everything she’d bought.

Julia, who is pansexual and currently not in a relationship, didn’t say anything about the identity of the ex-boyfriend whose credit card she used.

She married Peter Artemiev in November 2018 after dating for a short time. They divorced in February 2020.

They have a son, Valentino, who was born in January 2021.

After that, she had a short but very public relationship with Kanye West in 2022, lasting a few months.

Julia has talked before about how her relationship with Kanye felt too public, and she hadn’t wanted so much attention on it.

In her memoir, she revealed that her relationship with Kanye lacked sexual intimacy.

She also alleges that Kanye West has a tendency to control how women dress, treating them like dolls – a pattern she’s observed with both his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and his current wife, Bianca Censori.

Honestly, when he said he was putting together a team to revamp my wardrobe, I instantly flashed back to an old episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians! He did that for his then-girlfriend, way back when they first started dating. It’s just…completely bizarre to me that this is happening now.

Julia mentioned in her book that she first connected with Kanye West – whom she calls ‘the artist’ – after a friend shared her number with him at his request.

Soon enough she gets a text, ‘followed by dozens of phone calls.’ 

Following their energetic first encounter, Julia shared that Kanye quickly asked her to date him and immediately hired two of her friends, Tammy and Liana, to style her.

Julia’s friendships began to fade when her friends started asking her boyfriend, not her, for advice on her outfits.

She described feeling helpless as her world seemed to get smaller and smaller, reduced to what could fit into moving boxes. Even the new clothes he’d bought her felt too much for her limited space.

After Tammy and Liana ended their romantic relationship, they both kept their jobs with Kanye and continued to work as his stylists, even helping to style his next girlfriend.

Following the loss of a shared friend, Julia explained that Kanye abruptly left the funeral with Tammy and Liana because of work. Liana resigned from her job, but Tammy did not.

Julia wrote that she blocked her friend’s number. She couldn’t believe that someone she’d known for ten years would pick him over her, especially just to become more popular online.

He had photographers take pictures of him while they were at the New York restaurant Carbone, and she was surprised to see those photos all over the Page Six website when she woke up.

Julia said the experience made her feel like a ‘show monkey.’ 

I heard another incredible story about Kanye – apparently, he just decided to do a photoshoot, right there in his hotel room! It was all so spontaneous, and the photos actually ended up in Interview magazine, which is amazing.

Julia mentioned to Kanye that one of the outfits wasn’t a perfect fit, and he jokingly offered to pay for her to get a breast augmentation, which she declined.

I glanced at my reflection, noticing how my body had changed after having a baby. It wasn’t as bad as I’d feared, I realized.

After just two months of a rocky relationship, Julia started to wonder if Kanye’s feelings were genuine or just for show. She finally ended things after a disagreement at her birthday party.

Kanye reportedly gave Birkin bags to her and her friends, but made them repeatedly pose and record their reactions until he was satisfied with the video he captured.

Julia said she suspects his big show of support is just for attention, adding, ‘It feels like we’re all being manipulated like puppets.’

I feel detached and unable to fully appreciate things. While I try to be thankful for what I have, a sense of artificiality keeps bothering me.

She explained that he only seems interested in showing affection when they’re being filmed – he’ll pull her close and kiss her dramatically for the camera.

Julia said she ended things with him in a phone call. The lucrative deal Kanye arranged for her with an Italian denim company also fell through, as it depended on her remaining his girlfriend.

Shortly after their breakup, Julia claimed Kanye began repeatedly contacting her with questions about a non-disclosure agreement she hadn’t actually signed.

She refuses to sign it, even at the risk of being blacklisted from the entertainment industry.
