Jules Robinson Slams MAFS Drama and Shares Big Family News!
Reality TV personality, Jules Robinson, from Married At First Sight, shares her opinions on this year’s edition of the show.
In 2019, the 42-year-old was teamed up with Cameron Merchant for the reality show on Channel Nine, which was a massive hit.
Jules told Stellar that it seemed like the latest cast members on MAFS were putting in extra effort to create some major drama.
She stated that when we were there, whatever you observed was the genuine reality, with no staged events intended to attract attention or generate responses. Whatever transpired was broadcast live.
Jules acknowledged that she’s been following the TV series that captivated many Australians, but she also mentioned that it wasn’t always easy for her.
‘This new season has been a bit hard to watch, I think – some parts of it,’ Jules admitted.
‘I can’t put my finger on it. You keep watching but you’re like, “What am I actually watching?”
‘At least there’s a bit of love this year, a couple of relationships.’
As a loving parent of Oliver, age 4, and Carter, just turning 9 months, I share this bond with my partner Cameron. We’ve been contemplating growing our family even more, as I’ve been nurturing the hope for a sweet little girl in the not-too-distant future – a dream I’ve been carefully manifesting.
‘So next year, we decided we will try again,’ she said.
It seems like I believe I’m invincible, right? My outlook on things is always optimistic – that’s just my perspective. So, I guess next year will be my year.
After the incident where Jules had to respond defensively to a troll’s false claim that her son, Oliver, had died.
In March, she used Instagram to rebuke an anonymous individual who posted untrue and distressing remarks about her son, showing cowardice by hiding behind their keyboard.
On a Married at First Sight enthusiast platform, someone posted a photo from 2020 featuring Cam and Jules holding their newborn son, accompanied by the comment: “Farewell, Oliver.” (Implying it as a joke or disrespectful remark about the child’s well-being.)

In a chilling remark, the troublesome troll questioned, ‘Is this the end? Cam Merchant believes that his son’s heartbreaking demise is due to partner Jules Robinson.’
Jules posted a distressing message, accompanied by her remark: “Even though I’ve faced some really nasty and false accusations, this one takes the cake as the most hurtful.
It appears that the person who posted this message lacks decorum. If anyone recognizes them, kindly inform me. A relative passed this on to me from a Married at First Sight fan group.
Apart from that, Jules posted a video on her stories too. In the clip, she’s seen cradling her seven-month-old child, Carter James. She kindly asked people to pause and reflect before making thoughtless remarks in their posts.
Funnily enough, on last Friday, I delivered a talk at an event, and there were many inquiries regarding the issue of online harassment, specifically about my methods for handling it,” Jules started, visibly emotional.
‘And you know what, nine times out of ten, I’m always fine.
She went on to say, “I’ve made sufficient personal progress to safeguard myself and to usually discern that their focus is primarily on my appearance, my style, or other similar aspects.
Fun fact, that doesn’t faze me in the slightest. However, attacking my loved ones with such harsh words is completely unacceptable.

It seems you’re looking for images of Oliver when he was an infant, but I’m curious about the reason behind it – could you please explain why you need these pictures?
She continued, “Such actions are utterly unbelievable; I believe it’s crucial for people to pause and consider the consequences before engaging in such thoughtless behavior.
As a concerned parent, I must express that I’m deeply hurt by the harsh words directed towards my kids. It’s unfair and inappropriate to make such comments, regardless of the situation. To whoever wrote this, I kindly request that you reconsider your actions, as your words reflect a lack of understanding and empathy.
Following nearly six years as a couple, Jules and Cam have shared insights into their time on Married at First Sight, explaining that the process can strip people down to an empty or hollow version of themselves.
In August, Cam shared with Yahoo Lifestyle that the success we experienced was likely due to the extensive personal work we had done beforehand. This preparation seemed to have signaled to the universe that we were now ready for such an experience.
Jules added: ‘We’re forever grateful for our experience.
Man, oh man, let me tell you, that moment was something else! We were on the edge, emotions running high – so much so that we even shed some tears. But looking back, I can honestly say it was worth every bit of it. The fun, the excitement, the memories we made – they’ve become an extraordinary experience for us. We’re truly thankful for this journey and everything it has brought our way.
Since the airing of “Married At First Sight” in 2019, my beloved partners and I have been growing stronger day by day. We were blessed with the arrival of our little one, Oliver, in October 2020.
In July of the previous year, they expanded their household by welcoming their second-born boy, Carter James, into their family.
